The Klein Tools’ Slim-Tip Insulated Screwdrivers in this screwdriver set have slim profile tips that allow for greater access into terminal blocks, slim-style breakers, or other tight spaces near energized sources. A bright orange coating of insulation protects from electrical shock, is flame and impact resistant, and sits flush with the tip helping to reduce insulation chipping and cracking. Klein insulated tools exceed the ASTM F1505 standards for insulated tools, and are clearly marked with the official 1000-volt rating symbol. A great set for any tool bag, the 2-piece set includes 4-Inch round shank in a 1/4-Inch Cabinet tip and a #2 Phillips. Also available is a 6-Inch shank, 3/16-Inch Cabinet tip and a #2 Square.

This is a review of the Klein Tools 2-Piece Slim-Tip Insulated Screwdriver Set. First off: Made In America, how often do you get to see that on the package of a tool? I can’t tell you how many times I could have used these screw drivers. They have a very narrow profile almost all the way up to the handle to get into those small screw holes. There is a nice knob near the base that is good for spinning the driver. The main grip on the driver is really comfortable and feels secure. While there is a + and – on the handle to let you know which driver is which, I really would have appreciated a red and blue circle for faster identification or make the +/- red or blue.

TWO-PIECE SLIM-TIP INSULATED SCREWDRIVER SET (Phillips and Straight) by Klein ToolsI have a number of Klein Tools– but not screwdrivers. These are insulated up to 1000 volts– and I have no intention of finding out if that is true. The grip size is about right for my hand. The working-end appears appears precision sized and worked well on the one outlet that I needed to change. The insulation gives me added peace of mind when working on minor home electrical repairs (even with the breaker set out of service). A decent value for the money and certainly worth the alternative of a jolt of AC.

Very good tools but on deep metal boxes the protective orange coating comes off very easily if you rub the junction box. I was hoping they would be a little more hardened. Other than that, they are great screwdrivers.

If you are doing electrical work this screwdriver set really is a must have. The set is super nice and the safety aspect of these screwdrivers is hard to overlook. These screwdrivers will protect you against 1000volts so that alone makes them worthwhile to get.The grips on screwdrivers are super nice and have great grip. The end of the grips have a clear indicator of what type of screwdriver it is, philips or flat head. The tips of the screwdrivers are well made and the screws sit will on them. Overall a great set of screwdrivers. Comfortable in the hand and great safety.

The insulated screwdriver set we had was pretty old-school. They did the job, so we didn’t worry about their age. However, seeing the new Klein Tools insulated screwdriver set was one of those *wow* moments. Love the insulated shafts! Love the easy-to-read handle symbols! Love the slim tips! The handles are easy to grip, and the screwdrivers have a nice weight. These are an excellent product, excellent buy.

I have probably bought 10 or 15 products from Klein tools and so far I haven’t been disappointed.I have been installing a few light fixtures around the house and even though I always turn the power off you can never be too careful when electricity is involved so these insulated screwdrivers should work out very well for me.They are high quality and the packaging feels like it will work great to keep them together in the toolbox which is why I’m going to keep it. These may cost more than some competitor’s offerings but you are paying for a product that is made in the USA which is always worth paying more for. 5 out of 5 stars
