The Klein Tools’ Slim-Tip Insulated Screwdrivers in this screwdriver set have slim profile tips that allow for greater access into terminal blocks, slim-style breakers, or other tight spaces near energized sources. A bright orange coating of insulation protects from electrical shock, is flame and impact resistant, and sits flush with the tip helping to reduce insulation chipping and cracking. Klein insulated tools exceed the ASTM F1505 standards for insulated tools, and are clearly marked with the official 1000-volt rating symbol. A great set for any tool bag, the 2-piece set includes 4-Inch round shank in a 1/4-Inch Cabinet tip and a #2 Phillips. Also available is a 6-Inch shank, 3/16-Inch Cabinet tip and a #2 Square.

The Klein Tools 2-Piece Slim-Tip Insulated Screwdriver Set is a hit for me. When working around electricity, you don’t want to get zapped. I like the length of the screwdrivers, they are just right for most jobs that I need them for. They may not be multi tipped like some other brands, but they work just fine for me. I like the thicker handle that fits my hands better than a thin handle. The cool unspoken benefit is that the tips are magnetic, so when you drop that darn screw you can snatch it up with the magnetic tip, also good for holding the screw while you start it.

I have always liked Klein Tools. This set is just right. The size of tips and length are a good match. I used these on a energized panel and they worked well. The insulation is well put on the screwdrivers. The cushion grips are well made and easy on the hands. The ends are marked when they are in your tool pouch you can identify them easily. The length is nice for other installs other than panel’s.

These are GREAT screwdrivers for the serious electrician. While I am not an electrician, my biddy is and he said they’re better than what he paid three times more for. First, they are VERY sturdy. The handles are hefty and feel comfortable in your hand. The tips are well formed and do not slip out of the appropriate screw easily as with some cheap screwdrivers. These are rated at 1000 volts – though I did not test this, nor do I recommend anyone else do. I used these when installing a new breaker and, even with the street power off, does anyone really want to find out if the breaker bus is energized? All in all: a great set and I’m sure I’ll get a lot of use out of them.
