The Klein Tools’ Slim-Tip Insulated Screwdrivers in this screwdriver set have slim profile tips that allow for greater access into terminal blocks, slim-style breakers, or other tight spaces near energized sources. A bright orange coating of insulation protects from electrical shock, is flame and impact resistant, and sits flush with the tip helping to reduce insulation chipping and cracking. Klein insulated tools exceed the ASTM F1505 standards for insulated tools, and are clearly marked with the official 1000-Volt rating symbol. A must-have for any electrician’s tool bag, the 4-piece set includes 4-Inch round shank in a 1/4-Inch Cabinet tip and a #2 Phillips, as well as 6-Inch round shank in a 3/16-Inch Cabinet tip and a #2 Square tip.

This review is for the Klein Tools 4-Piece Slim-Tip Insulated Screwdriver Set. This is a very high-quality slim tip insulated driver set that is great for working in tight spaces. The insulated shafts are good for up to 1000 volts and are flame and impact resistant. In addition, the tips are magnetized so you do not have to worry about losing the fastener in a tight spot. This set also has cushioned grip handles for better torque and comfort. The set consists of 2 slotted drivers, 1 #2 Philips driver and 1 square driver. Another fine product made is the USA from Klein tools.

This is a great set of insulated screwdrivers. If I could only have one set it would be these.I have another nice set of insulated drivers that are not bad at all. But these slim tip ones are just great for getting into tighter places. And the quality of everything about the Klein drivers is top of the line from the steel to the grips which simply cannot be beat. And averaging out at about 10 bucks a driver I think these are good for the price given the quality of them. If I could only have one brand in my box and it had to last me forever Klein would be the easy choice. These are really well marked and it is easy to see which one you are grabbing from your tool pouch at a glance. And the insulating coating is a good quality and is very well fitted to the driver. The addition of the square tip to the set over just a usual flathead and Philips is a nice touch. You just cannot go wrong with these if you need insulated drivers. If you do any electrical work you need these in your box.

A bit expensive, but far better than the cheap alternatives from China. Price should not be a factor that separate an engineer from his tools. This reminded me of the original U.S.A. Craftsman screwdrivers that I bought over 40 years ago. It is still working like new. The good part of this set is that it is insulated, safe to use in situations involving hot wires.

The slim tips are nice. I like the grip on the Klein screwdrivers. Makes for good leverage. The tips wear like other Klein screwdrivers unlike the Doyle and Southwire brands I tried before these which had a coating that wore/scratched off after a few uses. Not sure if it was just the coating or soft metal but glad to have replaced them with this set. Nice having a square, phillips and 2 flat heads to choose from.
