Handy dandy. I have used it on a pocket knife and kitchen knives. Its design is safe for use and easy to use. I did notice that after use you should clean or rinse off the blade. There appeared to be some metal savings, and especially with your kitchen knives you wouldn’t want this on or in your food.It is not a substitute for a professional job, or even a mill stone, but certainly does the trick in the short term

This awesome knife and scissor sharpener is the perfect solution for your sharpening needs! Up unitl this I would go thru multiple pairs of scissors throughout the course of a year! This shapener is small and has a protective shield so to not injure yourself while shapening! Within minutes knives and scissors become just as sharp as they were when new!

I used this tool to sharpen knives in my kitchen and boy did a great job getting them sharpened. You place the blade into the slot and draw it from the back of the blade to the tip four times, to get a nice sharp blade. There is a nice finger guard to protect your fingers while you sharpen the blade. The sharpener has knuckles in it for your fingers to have a good grip on the sharpener. It can be used to sharpen knives, scissors, and serrated knives. And the best thing I like about it is that it is made in the U.S.A!

I’ve used this combination sharpener to sharpen a knife and a couple pairs of scissors. I followed the directions on the back of the product card and got good results on both types of tools. The illustration showing the method for sharpening scissors was a little difficult for me to interpret. The instructions say to place the sharpener flat (before sharpening scissors); that means flat on its side with the finger guard on the side nearest you.The sharpener is made of plastic with the exception of the tungsten carbide inserts, but it seems well constructed and I expect it to last for many years.Made in USA

I am not a professional knife sharpener but I have sharpened a few knives in my life. I have heard about ruining your knives by using these hand held sharpeners or the edge only needs to be rolled back up and you should use an ivory stick. I get it, however I do not own hundred dollar knives. I own knives that get used and used hard. Simply speaking, this sharpener works and it works well. Keep dragging it across the edge until you are happy with the sharpness. It takes less than a minute to sharpen in most cases. You do not have to watch a video on technique or worry that too much blade will be removed from the knife. Reasonable price and great results. That’s a win!

I was hoping to use this to sharpen my different pairs of crafting scissors. It took a bit of practice, but was finally able to use it on them. The scissors are definitely sharper. I have some razor knives I use for my crafts and sharpening them with this sharpener was so much easier, and they are also much sharper. I like the finger guard and that it is also compact.

This is a nice little knife sharpener that takes all the guesswork out of sharpening your favorite knife or scissors. No more worrying about holding the knife or scissors at just the right angle on the sharpening stone …this sharpener does all the work for you. You simply draw the blade through the appropriate slot a few times and voila, a razor-sharp blade! A great little sharpener.

The Klein Tools sharpener puts a fantastically sharp edge on knives. I have a couple other sharpeners that use porcelain rods, and the Klein sharpener provides a sharper edge. It is a little awkward to use. The thumb spot on the yellow plastic keeps your thumb away from the blade, but it sort of takes the tool out of balance. The black finger guard is good. The slot for sharpening scissors was either misaligned or badly cut. The diagram on the back of the box was so small it was worthless. Good directions at https://youtu.be/faQdJ12SzGc.

The knife and scizzors sharpener is simple to use. It sharpens blades for every day use quickly with little effort. It is easy to handle and I especially like the safety guard. It is easy to keep scizzors sharp for cutting fabric and it can be used in kitchen knives or pocket knives as well. It works well enough to use on hair scizzors also. It is well made and great to have around for different tasks that require a sharp blade.

I love this little tool! I was able to sharpen all my snippers and pruners rather than replacing them.

I bought it to sharpen garden tools, rather than its intended purpose. Took a little while to get the hang of it, then it did the job. I think it would be much better on knives and scissors.

My knife had gotten dull, well to me it was dull. I ran it through the sharpening guide a few times and checked it with my thumb. It was now extremely sharp, just like I like it. While I was checking the sharpness with my thumb, I thought of the time a friend was butchering our hogs. He was using the meat saw cutting through the bone on the chops, my husband cleaning the bone fragments off of them; so I picked up the boning knife and started removing the fat from the chops. The friend saw me and ran over to make sure I knew how sharp the knife was; he was afraid I would cut myself. When he found out that that was how sharp I kept my knives, he knew that I knew how to trim fat with a good sharp knife.
