   Klein Tools 15/16 in. Extra Capacity Adjustable 6″ WrenchThis adjustable wrench is designed with a considerably thinner jaw so it can more easily be used in combination with more than one wrench. That plus the 6” length give me better control in tight spaces. One side of this wrench has metric and the other has standard measure, a very handy feature for adjustment when I need it. I found this wrench to be in line with the high quality of tools I have learned to expect from Klein Tools. I also expect to use this wrench for many years, as has proven true of other Tools from Klein that I already own.In an attempt to clarify why there is a California warning on the side of the wrench (pictured below), I called Klein Tools, and they emailed the following:(Letter was directed to distributors)It is already mandatory under Proposition 65 for retailers of products entering the stream of commerce in California to provide written warnings to consumers regarding products which may result in an exposure to one or more of over 900 chemicals listed under Proposition 65 as known to the State of California to cause cancer and/or reproductive harm.As you know, Klein has over the years sought to diligently comply with these existing legislative requirements at the point of manufacturing by including a compliant warning on all product packaging, thereby sparing you any obligation in this regard. Klein will continue to attach this compliant written warning to its products:WARNING: Cancer and reproductive harm – See http://www.P65Warnings.ca.gov for more information. However, the new legislation now adds a further warning requirement:When a product is sold via the internet, or via printed catalog, the internet page or printed catalog page displaying the product must post a product-specific warning corresponding with any warning that is physically attached to the product or its immediate package or label….It is important to note that these warnings do not mean that our products will necessarily cause cancer or reproductive harm. A Proposition 65 warning does not mean a product is in violation of any safety standards or requirements.    I got this wrench for work around the house and hoped it would help with some of the larger hook ups on my furnace/hot water heater and washer. It has a huge 1 1/2 inch jaw and the 10 inch handle actually gives you a ton of leverage!I used it recently to tighten all my connections on my hot water heater and it can handle all of the larger bolts! If you work in HVAC or plumbing you will love this wrench! It also has a very precise nose that can tighten down the smaller bolts as well! The thumb adjustment is easier than others I have used on similar adjustable wrenches and I like how smooth it feels!No complaints at all, typical Klein quality!

   Klein Tools once again has caught my eye. The 10 1/8 adjustable wrench is heat treated steel alloy construction. The high polished chrome finish will protect this adjustable wrench for years of service. The precision machines jaws and the knurled thumbscrew make for a very high quality adjustable wrench. But once you use this wrench you can feel the wrench jaws lock onto the nut. You know it wont slip busting up your knuckles. The etched scale on both side the tool is a nice feature. But probably wont last as long as a engraved scale would of lasted. With lots of choices of adjustable wrenches. This Klein Tool offers quality and an affordable choice. And will be in your toolbox for many years to come!

   This is a big, heavy duty wrench. I love the calibrations on the jaws- makes setting the size of the jaws very simple. Long 12-inch handle gives you excellent leverage. Appears to be very well machined- opens and closes quite easily. The jaws will handle a nut or valve up to 1-1/2 inches in diameter. It is big- probably not the best tool for smaller jobs where clearance may be an issue because of the width of the jaws.

   This wrench is 8″ long and has (inch) measurements on one side and (mm) measurement on the other. The measurement ticks go up to 1 3/16″ . Overall a nice quality wrench that seems like it should outlast me.Product is Forged and made in Spain.I’m a little skeptical about the warranty. First, the warranty info on the product package says “See Retailer or go to kleintools.com” which seems a bit diversive. So I went to the website and the warranty is not very clear other than that the tools will be delivered to the customer free of defects and that the warranty does not cover “normal wear and tear”. However, you are urged to fill out a form and contact Kleintools with any claims, so who knows, maybe they back up the product, maybe they give you the runaround. Luckily I haven’t had any reason to find out.

   This is a great small wrench for working in tight spaces. Even though it is only a 6″ wrench it will adjust out to 15/16″ fastener size. That’s larger than my other 6″ wrench and is as big as my 8″ wrench will go out to. The wrench made by Klein can fit in smaller spaces than my 8″ wrench. See Photos. The wrench is made from forged steel with a chrome finish. The handle is smooth and comfortable to hold. The knurled gear is a little larger and fits my thumb better than my old wrench and turns very smoothly. Each side of the wrench has easily viewable scales, metric and standard. Handy if you want to know what size fastener you are tightening.

   This adjustable wrench is very nice. It is 8.25” in length and weighs 9 7/8 oz. It has a good feel in the hand. The spiral knurls to make the adjustment move smoothly and precisely. A really super feature of the wrench is the measurements on each side: one side is in inches; the reverse side is in millimeters, so you can see exactly how open the jaws are. The inside of the jaws are smoothly finished and grip well. It opens to a maximum of 1 3/16” or 30mm.

   This is a small adjustable wrench with additional capacity versus most wrenches this size. There are many times when the additional size is needed but you don’t have room for a larger wrench. This fits in tight places and maintains it’s size well. I used it to remove nuts on a threaded rod through the center of a dining table where room was at a minimum and it worked very well.

   Over the years I’ve owned Klein Tools. So when I needed a new adjustable wrench my choice was the Klein Tools 10 in. adjustable wrench. What I liked about the hand tool was the the feel of comfortable contoured handle. The heat treated forged steel and the high polished chrome finish. For easy clean up of the wrench. The precision matched jaws and knurled screw will offer good tight fit on the nut or bolt your working on. Plus a handy scale on both sides of the wrench in SAE and metric. This quality affordable hand tool in any toolbox will last a lifetime. And should be in yours too.

    Over the years I’ve owned Klein Tools. So when I needed a new adjustable wrench my choice was the Klein Tools 10 in. adjustable wrench.     This line of adjustable wrenches are excellent. I purchased a few different brands looking for quality of what the Crescent brand “use” to be like. These are really nice wrenches, they are thick enough to feel like you are holding a solid wrench. I purchased the 8″, 10″, and 12″ versions. All great. The adjusting mechanism is smooth and does not bind up. All three of the sizes purchased are made in Spain. Highly recommended.

    This 6 in. adjustable wrench is pretty good. Overall quality appears to be good. The Extra Capacity 15/16 in. opening is the best feature, and the marked size (in., mm) graduations are nice. Like the description says, the machining is well done and makes operation smooth. I’ve owned and used extra capacity (Wide Opening) adjustable wenches (made by Diamond Tool) since 1970 when I started out as a refrigeration fitter. Unfortunately Diamond Tool was bought out a couple of times, and finally just disappeared. Those tools are no longer made and are very difficult to find. I’ve hoped for years that someone would come out with adjustable wrenches comparable to those, but to no avail. I checked this Klein wrench out against my Diamond Tool Wide Opening (Refrigeration) 6 in. wrench. While the Klein is a good wrench and will work well, I still prefer my old ones. This Klein wrench is longer, wider, and thicker than my Diamond Tool 6 in. wrench. It’s also wider overall when opened. It’s available with transparent red dipped handle, but that would add to the thickness. Other brands I’ve looked at are much thicker than this Klein, and nowhere near the quality. It used to be that Klein was synonymous with “Made in USA”, but while it doesn’t necessarily reflect badly on quality, those days are, apparently, behind us. This wrench is made in Spain. As far as wide-opening adjustable wrenches go, this is probably the best choice available today. If you need Extra Capacity, get one of these.

    The wrench I received is good quality, easy to handle, opens and closes with no problems. It has a longer handle to reach plus the longer handle can help you break a seal on a screw or bolt. everything about this tool I like. I have just received this tool today via UPS. This product was shipped on January 6, 2021 from Klein Tools in Mansfield, Texas. I believe it will meet my expectations because of the fact Home Depot required all suppliers to have quality product for there Seed Program

    This not a typical 8 inch wrench,it has a beefier thicker handle than what you normally see for 8 inch typical wrench. But what is also special is that the jaw opens up to 1 1/8 inches, whereas a typical 8 inch wrench only opens up to 1 inch. sometimes its that extra 1/8 inch that makes a difference from having to change tools or have nothing else on hand to handle that extra size. (See pics)I compared it with my Stanley and Proto 8 inch wrench and that is what I found different. (Seep pic) So you have to consider that you will be paying about twice as much as any typical 8 inch wrench, that you will have in your hand a high quality Klein Tools, much beefier handle in your hand, and the ability to handle nuts or bolt heads up to 1 1/8 inch with this much wider jaw opening. I did notice that with a fully closed jaw, there is the stem that sticks out of the top of the tool unlike other typical 8 inch wrenches. (See pic) but if that poses any problems in your tool bag of catching other tools or bag side pockets, just keep the jaw open a bit when storing. This tool is made in Spain. Not China, and also not in the USA. But it feels and looks to be excellent quality, minimal wobble of the turn wheel and the jaw is not loose. Overall an excellent tool and consider the price point for a quality tool and how often you have it in hand to use.

    This is a truly great adjustable wrench. It is a high quality p, heavy duty use type wrench and as soon as you pick it up you know you are holding a quality product. Unlike other adjustable wrenches I have used this one does not try to loosen up on the setting I have dialed it to, and I especially like the size calibrations etched ont the wrench. A very strong and sturdy wrench that I believe will give me many years of good use. Highly recommended.
