The Klein cutter is a very good tool and works as expected. the key to using this tool is to take your time cutting the drywall. It does not take long to cut a hole but you must proceed slowly to complete a cut.

Very good, so glad I looked at the video first! I was needing it to go through plaster. Couldn’t find the information anywhere until I had see them go right thru cement board.

Bought to install 6” recessed lights. Worked fairly well. A little harder to manage than a hole saw, but for the money was worth it.

This tool is Super. It makes cutting in ceiling lights simple and perfect every time. Plus it eliminates all the dust so there is no clean up required.

I purchased this tool in order to drill 6.25 in hole in drywall for recess light. The tool was not easy to drill with. It took a few tries to figure out you have to do more like a pulsing rather than continuous drilling. In addition, the cutting pieces you tighten with the Allen key, loosen up while you are drilling and you end up with a big hole.

It’s difficult to use. The cutting blades bite into the sheetrock and if you’re not holding the drill with maximum strength it twists you around. Also, the adjustments on the blade length do not allow for 1/4 inch increments in setting. The hole I needed to make was 6-1/4 inches and I could only cut for 6 or 6-1/2 inches.

Cut one of 6 holes so far. The other 5 have to wait until I hang a new ceiling. Hope to get a better feel on final penetration of the Sheetrock. The resistance of the dust cover plastic as pressure is applied to continue the drill/cut makes it a little difficult. Overall it cut a clean and precise hole. Cheaper than a dedicated diameter hole saw and works well.

Worked well for cutting drywall holes. However, it’s not infinitely adjustable – it has set stops at 1/2 inch intervals. Unfortuately, I needed a 1/4 inch interval.Other than that, I recommend.
