Tool is only adjustable in 1/4″ increments, packaging didn’t indicate this. Overall it worked as described, but had the packaging indicated incremental adjustment (like other similar tools), I would’ve just bout the hole saw in the size that I needed.

Great thing to have with the plastic was a bit more durable

Does what it’s intended to do. It does have preset notches which makes it difficult to adjust to odd settings.

I have tried a couple different manufacturers of this type of adjustable hole saw and this one seems to be much sturdier, sharper, and more precise with both the smaller arbor bit and the cutting blades. It is also is easier to adjust the hole size.

This tool works great! It catches 99% of the dust. Make sure you hold the drill tight!

Just used this to cut 42 holes in fresh drywall for some 6” ultra thin downlights. I did break a drill bit when it caught on me one time, but I was smart enough to buy some extra bits when purchasing. It will catch often, so take your time and pay attention to how your drill is reacting. Also cut in for two additional 4” accent lights. Was nice to be able to do it all with the same tool. The use of the tool itself i would say is more like 4 stars, but throw in the versatility to change sizes and not have to have individual expensive hole saws is why i give it 5 stars.

The cutter have an allen screw to lock them in place but twice I’ve had them slide. The hole tends to gets move oval and the bin while helpful, unless holding tight to ceiling or surface, particles still fall.
