It’s kinda bulky for the pocket and the laser button is already getting messed up

Works great. The light and the laser are both bright and the whole light is nice and compact.

This penlight is very light-weight, and the multiple features make this the most useful flashlight in my collection for work purposes. With penlights, one of the things most important to me, is the sturdiness of the clip. I always clip these to my shirt pocket, and am constantly sliding in and out of it multiple times a day. The clip on this is perfect because it flares out just enough to catch on the fabric, letting it glide easily into place, yet the clip is strong enough to keep with from sliding out when I lean over. I am also confident the clips will not break anytime soon, as the clip seems to be of good quality. The outside rim of the light is a soft rubbery material that protects it from drops, and glows in the dark as well. Something very useful in case you accidentally drop it in the dark, and need to locate it again quickly. It uses commonly available batteries, I refuse to use penlights that use the button-cell batteries, so this fits the bill perfectly. The batteries are also easy to change by unscrewing the end. Most of the body is wrapped in thick rubber, and makes it easy to grip when my hands are wet. My only minor gripe is the quality of the red laser pointer built in. It projects a rather oval shaped dot, rather than round, and its also not nearly as bright as other red laser pointers I have used. Lucky for me, I don’t use the laser pointer often enough to care, although it comes in handy once in a while. This penlight will be a nice tool I will be able to trust for a long time, and I expect it to last for many years!

The name of this tool describes its look and function perfectly. It’s roughly the size of a pen, it has an LED light and a laser. The LED runs off the same battery as the laser, so you’re only ever changing out the 2 AAAs inside. The buttons for each are separate and not easily mistaken, and they can both be turned on at the same time. LED Light is ON/OFF switch, while the button for the laser requires to be held down.Rubber grip is great for handling, even if it gets a little dirty or wet. It’s not water resistant though (or at least it doesn’t say it is) so using it in wet environments isn’t recommended. The battery compartment does have a rubber gasket on it though, so dirt and/or water isn’t going to get in right away. It is drop resistant to 10 feet.As an added feature, the LED light charges a glow in the dark ring around the lens. It seems to me that the amount of time the light is on is about the amount of time the ring stays illuminated. So, if you’re looking for the light in the dark of the garage or the tool shed, unless it was turned on recently, it’s probably not going to be easy to find. It does work well however, if you’re using the light, set it down for a moment in a dark space and lose track of it. In that scenario, the green ring works great.Battery life is supposedly about ten hours. I’ve used for about half that without any diminished output from either source. Range on the LED is not great, perhaps twenty feet usable range, but it’s not designed for range, its designed for inspection! The only thing I don’t like about it, is that the lens is fixed as a spot light. While this gives even illumination over a broad area, it doesn’t allow for focusing the light to a point, which can be necessary. It has a clip, which is removable.

This was purchased as one of the birthday gifts for my 14 year old son. He had requested a penlight style flashlight for personal use. He specifically did not want one of the high power tactical flashlights that I have in my collection. I have been quite happy with the Klein line of tools and decided that he would have fun with this lower powered inspection light with laser beam pointer as an auxiliary function. The flashlight is very sturdy, reliable and useful. He loves it. Perfect for a handy pocket light that won blind you. Hours of fun playing laser tag with the dog.

I am very happy with klein tools they are built really well. Heavy duty built to last. What I love about this light is the fact that is small, skinny and easy to carry around. With the belt clip on it it fits nicely in my pocket. I love the laser pointer also. I’m a painter I use it for when my helper is on a ladder and painting and I notice an area he missed instead of telling him he missed a spot to your left no not there a couple inces more and he still can’t see it, I just put the red dot on it and he can touch it up quick and easy. Highly recommend it.

This penlight is a neat little tool. The aluminum body should add a longer life span because it will not rust. It has a cushion-grip body. When it is on, it has a glow ring tip (white) After you turn it off, the ring changes to green, and that allows you to locate the penlight in the dark. This is the first time that I have seen this feature on a flashlight.I was able to pin point and item more than 30ft away with the leaser pointer. It also has a pocket clip.
