Finally I have a great set of fish-rod attachments to do my electrical work. These 7 attachments cover nearly every possible application in fishing and pulling wire in a wall or ceiling. I had an aftermarket fish-rod but it only came with 1 attachment. Other issue was the threads were not the same between my metric fish-rod ends and the Klein Tools SAE fish-rod accessories. I solved that problem by purchasing some nylon spacers and with my tap & die set, tapped the 4-0.70 metric threads on one end of the spacer and tapped the 8-32 SAE threads on the other end. I marked the metric ends with a permanent marker to make it easy to attach the proper end to the proper tool. Problem solved!!

Fish Rod, This is an electrial tool kit for pulling wires through condit, walls , suspended ceilings etc. This 7 piece kit contains several option to use with Fish Rod by Klein and other manufactures (not Fly or fishing sport rods) . included are a single a double hook,double s hook, whisk, bullet , magnetic and chain pullers. They are well made in the USA . The have a plastic box they come in perfact for keeping track of them when stowed. For me the magnetic tip is weak other wise the others have become very useful for all types of uses beyond electrical.

I have used Klein Tools fish rods for years. I have always made my own attachments out of wire and tape. No more! The Klein Tools 7-piece Fish Rod Attachment Set #56511 is the perfect addition to my Klein Tools 12’ Fish Rod Set #56312 (also found at the Home Depot). As with everything else Klein, these are made in the USA. Why would a homeowner or DIY’er need something like this? Do you like the way it looks after the phone or cable guys tack their wires on your walls or ceiling? With this tool, even the professionals won’t be able to tell the difference!

These are perfect! Well made, strong attachments that work for almost any situation. I have been using fish rods for a very long time, always having to rig up something to get to that impossible to reach cable. I don’t know how I ever made it by without these. This is a must have. this kit comes with everything you need to push, pull, poke, hook, and finesse anything you will need to fish through the ceiling or up a wall. The box these come in is also reusable and the perfect size to throw in your tool bag.

If you run a lot of wire, this set is a must have! This is a bargain for the price it’s going for, considering how much easier it makes just about any job you are working on! There are 7 different attachments so that you always have the right end for the particular job you’re working on. I have been struggling with feeding a piece of 12-2 wire, about 150′ long from the county road at the pole to my house for the last couple of weekends, the conduit makes a couple of turns as it comes down the side of the mountain, preventing us from being able to get it through the second bend. We got this kit and after fitting the right attachment to the line, we were finally able to get it pulled through the conduit and hooked up! Yay! Now, on to the barn wiring!

I love my Klein tools and these attachments are just one example of how well thought out tools can take a potentially frustrating and time consuming chore and transform that into an “I got this!” moment. These attachments are really well thought out – I especially like the whisk for getting around stuff and the chain and magnet for retrieving stuff that I am bound to drop. I usually work alone and anything that makes my job easier is much appreciated. Really like that these come in their own storage case – saves me from rooting around at the bottom of my bag. If you do not have fish rods, I highly recommend the Klein splinter guard rods – they make fishing wires almost pleasant. The Klein glow rods are an excellent choice as well but they do not work with this attachment set.

The fish rod attachment set comes in a convenient storage plastic case that you can keep the pieces from getting mixed in my tool bag. I only use the double s hook to pull cable through and it help with securing the cable to my rod. The other accessories will help with future projects where I don’t need my electrician to charge me for simple task like pulling cable.
