The Klein Tools Klein-Kurve Multi-Cable Cutter offers the versatility to cut a variety of copper and steel wiring. This cutter is made from hardened steel and features precision-ground cutting blades for long-lasting wear. Features holes for looping and bending wire.
- Copper curved cutter cleanly cuts round copper cable without compression or frayed ends
- Anvil cutter for solid and stranded copper wire up to 12 AWG and stainless steel up to .032 in. (0.8 mm) diameter
- Mild steel cutter for conductors up to .080 in. (2 mm) diameter
- Curved cutter for solid and stranded copper wire up to 8 AWG, multi-conductor cable up to 1/2 in. (13 mm) diameter and coaxial cable RG-6 Quad, RG-59, and RG-62
- New lock design prevents accidental locking or loosening over time
- Double-dipped grips for comfort

I bought one to replace a pair I had for about 10 years. The feeling of the handle rubber molding doesn’t have the same grip, feeling a little slick, but not a big deal. I use strictly for stranded wire and stripping odd size wires. The front end cutters are good but wish they were a little longer. I don’t used the screw cutters because I had a wire stripper model where it separated the blades and couldn’t cut the nylon stripping string in ca6. It held a good edge till a coworker borrowed them and cuts a solid wire. Put a small nick on the blade but still performed well for many more years. Home Depot doesn’t carry this in stock anymore unless if you buy coax kit. Fortunately they carry it by itself on line. Klein tools are built to last if you take care of them.

I’ve been using this cable cutter for about 10 years for low voltage comm cabling. Buying my 3rd set now as the last one got popped and is now serrated. Great for stripping/cutting coax, twisted pair, or copper up to probably 4 gage. The tip strips small stranded well. great combo cutter.
