The Coaxial Cable Cutter cuts up to 1-Inch (25 mm) aluminum and copper coaxial cable. This tough tool offers precision, one-hand shearing action without compression or frayed ends. Cable-gripping jaws quickly score jacket and insulation and easily cut through copper inner conductor. Plus, the compact, lightweight design fits perfectly in any professional’s tool pouch.

This coaxial cable cutter works well for what it is designed to do, cut coaxial cable and remove the insulation. The unusual shape of the blade and its sharpness really help. Unfortunately it turns out that this is a single purpose tool, you can’t (shouldn’t) use it for anything other than coaxial cable.I tried to cut regular electric able with it and the soft steel blade immediately got damaged. Certainly not a multipurpose tool.
