I love my old Klein cable cutters, but after a quarter century, nicks had started to accumulate on the blade. I don’t blame Klein for this – I realize now that I should not have used them on multi-pair thermocouple cables, as the wire isn’t copper. I expect these will last long too!

These are high quality cutters that are very useful for cutting thick or multi conductor cables. They have lots of leverage and are strong and sharp. They cut through 1/2″ coaxial hard line (antenna cable) very easily. If you work with big cables, you need a set of the “lobster claws” as we call them. I use these several times a week and would be lost without them. Another great tool.
