I ended up returning because I had one of these from another company and I liked how I was able to remove from handle and it had a 1/4″ shaft so I can use as 1/4″ or 5/16″ nut driver on my cordless drill, this does not let you do that.

Total length of this tool is 3 ¼ inches. It’s magnetic for keeping the screw in place regardless of which driver is selected. It has an ergonomic comfortable cushion-grip handle. It’s a handy tool for those small tight areas.

The Hex-Head Screwdriver, is a good tool. Made by Klein Tools, It is handy for those small areas, 2 -in-1 tool from 1/4” to 5/16′ with a magnet to hold your bits in place. Neat little mechanism quickly changes from 1/4″ to 5/16″ without removing bits or taking anything apart. Just the right size for most hose clamps and hex head sheet metal screws. Stubby size is great for working in close quarters. This is not necessarily a tool I need to carry every day, but it is a nice one to have in the box of little “get at it” tools that you don’t need often, but when you do need it, you REALLY need it.

Klein Tools Does It Again! 2 of the Most Common Sizes In ONE!I was going to go ahead & get the whole Klein Hex Nut Driver Set but just couldn’t bring myself to do it for 3 or 4 nut drivers I use the most. I have had this tool for about a month and with vacation falling in the space I have only just had an opportunity to put it to the test. I find that this tool is very handy and a great addition to any tool pouch. The fact that it is versatile is one of the major selling points. I was not sure how this would work looking at it in the packaging. I was thinking it was a little gimmicky. I was wrong. This little unit is solid and will hold up to any task requiring a 1/4″ or 5/16″ nut driver. Keep in mind, the depth of this driver is shallow so if you need space to extend the screw threw the nut, you might consider an open ended wrench or a crescent wrench for the task.The two settings are simple. While retracted, you have the 1/4″ driver. Once extended, you have the 5/16″ driver. While it is in the extended position, thread up the knurled section to allow the driver to stay and not retract once pressure is applied. This is another quality product by Klein. I like it!

I am a contractor, so a tool’s performance matters a lot to me. Klein tools are very high quality tools every time, so I’ll go with them every time, and this one is no exception to the rule. While this is not a tool that’s often used for me, when I do have the need, it’s is just the ticket. And the fact that it can do 1/4″ or 5/16″ by just sliding the bit forward or back is ingenious.

This is another innovative idea from Klein Tools. It’s a ” Why didn’t I think of that before” moment. For many years I carried the standard driver from 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch. Then I found a single handled driver that incorporated six different sizes, it is long and heavy but serves it purpose. Sometimes though you just don’t have the clearance needed, so I carried a small 6 inch 1/4 -5/16 inch boxed end wrench. I am impressed, this over all 3 5/8 inch ” stubby” nut driver incorporates a 1/4-5/16 slide head that you can easily switch back and forth,or lock down just one handed. The head is magnetic either way. You will be surprised how much torque you have too. This is also offered in a 6 inch model. This is one of those ” I just gotta have it’ tools.
