The Klein Tools0-1/2 inch inch alloy steel ratchet with a 1/2 inch drive is a heavy duty style ratchet… The 1/2 inch drive will tackle most heavy jobs… It is also has a handle that allows for easily adding a longer cheater bar if needing additional torque pull for loosening stubborn bolts or nuts… The quick release of sockets is also another additional plus for changing sockets or extensions.

This is a nice heavy-duty 1/2 inch drive ratchet wrench with a fully chrome smooth handle. Ergonomically, it feels good in the hand with no sharp angles or rough edges. With a 5 degree per-click movement, it allows for small amounts of rotation in tight spaces. With a 7 inch long handle, there is plenty to grab on to with both hands if needed. My favorite feature of this ratchet wrench is the push-button on the head to release the socket, allowing one-hand replacement of sockets. And yes, a 3/4-inch pipe will fit over the handle if some extra torque is needed, but I’m sure that is officially frowned upon. Klein tools have always been considered top end by professionals, and they come with a great warranty. I own quite a few of them and have never had a problem with any of their hand tools. It is nice to know that Home Depot now sells them at a reasonable price.

This is a great ratchet. I used it this weekend for the first time and it was totally different from my traditional ratchet. The swivel head makes it ideal for getting in tight spots or getting around an obstacle that may be in the way of removing or replacing a bolt. It easily locks in place when it is swiveled. It also appears to be of very high quality. My other ratchets have stripped in regards to locking when removing or replacing a bolt, but this one looks to be of very quality. Also, I like the ON and OFF designation that lets you know what position the ratchet is in.

Ordered the Klein Tools 10 ½ inch half inch drive ratchet to replace an aging one in my tool kit. This is a durable steel alloy socket wrench with a smooth comfortable handle. The 72 tooth ratcheting mechanism operates precisely with a minimum degree swing arm for tight spaces. Ratcheting direction is easily switched with one hand. I like the push button on the ratchet head that can eject a socket from the ratchet with one hand. The tool has a nice feel and weight suitable for heavy duty jobs. This is an excellent addition to my tool box that will last a lifetime.

This review is for Klein Tools alloy steel 1/2 drive ratchet, model # 65820. This is another quality tool from well known Klein Tools. This 10 inch long ratchet has a heft to it as good tools do, made to last, and has a high quality highly polished finishto it. The 1/2 inch socket head is 1 1/2 inches in diameter anda sturdy 1 inch thick. The head has the standard directional control lever (on/off) and a nice center socket release button that operates very smoothly. I just used this 1/2 inch socket in doing some work on myHarley and it has the strength and build to perform work on a 900 pound motorcycle. This is a quality tool that should easily provide a lifetime ofuse and a great addition to a mechanics or homeowner’s toolbox.

This review is for the Klein Tools 10″ long 1/2″ ratchet. It’s a 1/2″ drive ratchet, with a 10″ long handle. The handle is smooth all the way up and down, so it’s possible for your grip to slip if you’re trying to break free a really tight nut, but otherwise this ratchet is great. The switch to go from tightening to loosening is easy to flick, and stays in position. The switch on some of my older ratchets is loose enough that it flicks between tightening and loosening on it’s own, hence the need for a new one. Also, the spring and bearing that hold the sockets on is good and stiff – to the point that I need to release the bearing just to put a socket on, so I know it’ll hold it on. Finally, it’s made out of an alloy that should not rust, so hopefully this ratchet will last longer than some of my other ones. For the price, it was a good option.

I got the Klein Tools 10-1/2 in. Alloy Steel1/2 inch drive ratchet as it is always good to have a extra around for when your doing a job and the one your using suddenly decides to stop working or break out of the blue. This is made from good solid metal as it has some weight to it as you would expect it to have, the push button release is also metal and seems to work well. How ever with the button in the up locked position, pushing on the locking pin nipple with my finger does cause it to go into the 1/2 inch drive head to a point where it stops then the push button on the top must be pressed so it will on in the rest of the way.The reason I preformed this test is some mechanics do use attachments beyond extenders to include knuckles for hard to get at bolts such as the upper 2 bolts on the wings of a transmission where it bolts to a 283 – 454 cu in engine block in a older car, the fact that this locking pin nipple does allow for side pressure to cause it to be pushed back into the drive head, which any mechanic will tell you is a issue if using a extension to a knuckle to another extension to another knuckle to a extension that attaches to the socket, if the socket wrench keeps popping off the extension. The direction selector is either made of hard plastic or a synthetic powered metal.other then that it is a great product and has good solid construction. It is made in Taiwan

This1/2-inch drive ratchet feels rugged and ready for heavy duty use. The long handle provides excellent leverage to loosen or tighten bolts or nuts. It has an easy to use direction switch, and a push button to release the sockets or extensions. One thing to note is the photo and description on the Home Depot website shows and mentions that it has a knurled handle. The wrench I received had a smooth handle, which I find easier to wipe clean. I’ve used it to change the spark plugs on my daughter’s car, and for the lug nuts while rotating the tires on my wife’s car. It does the job very nicely. I am very satisfied with quality and performance of this ratchet.

This Gearwrench Klein tools 10-1/2 inch alloy steel ratchet is a nice product. It is a 3/8 inch ratchet head that is compact and comes with a lifetime warranty. The ratchet has a good smooth movement and a positive lock in the ratcheting action. The selection lever is also smooth in changing the ratcheting direction with a quick flip of your finger. The ratchet has a good weight to it.
