This is one of the neatest, well designed and made tools I’ve seen. It includes your most commonly used sizes. They are twelve point, allowing quicker application and the twelve point also means that you can use them on those square nuts. They’re clearly marked with the sizes, but also color coded. They’re ½’ drive, designed for use with an impact wrench, plus they’re made by Klein, so you know they’re very well made. These are great for saving time and aggravation when working with pole hardware. This set would be handy to have around the sop or in the truck too. It’s a great space saver, giving you twelve sizes in only six sockets. The set comes with a sturdy reusable case.

These have become an instant essential item in my tool backpack as a traveling field tech in the electrical industry. They save time, money and weight which are all essential to my needs. While they are expensive this impact socket set has paid for itself in both build quality and ease of use.

This Klein 2-in-1 6-Piece Impact Socket Set is really handy! The 12 sizes range from 3/8 in. up to 1-1/8 in. and are 12 point. The smaller inside sockets are spring-loaded inside the larger ones, and fit well. Also, the hole allows a bolt or stud to be inserted far enough to use the sockets on nuts that need to be tightened/loosened farther then the end. For example, I checked both a 3/8 in. and ½ in., and was able to thread the nuts as far as 1-3/4 in., basically making good use of the deep socket. Very nice! They come in a good tapered plastic case to keep them organized by size, and they’re color-coded. Another good feature for me is that this set fits in the case for my stubby ½ in. 12 V 250 lb. impact wrench, which keeps everything together in one handy kit, not just in the shop, but also in the vehicle when traveling. Other 2-in-1 sockets I’ve seen have a couple of characteristics that make these from Klein much better. Some others have the different sizes on opposite ends, requiring an extension. Others, like these, are spring-loaded but do not allow anything more than the bolt head, or nut thickness to be inserted, so the socket can’t be used with nuts threaded further on the threads. This is a great set. The only (possible) drawback might be that the inside part of each socket appears to be a polymer of some kind. Since they are 12-point and fit well inside the outer part, and modern polymers are very durable, I don’t think breakage will be an issue. Only time and usage will tell.

This is one of those ideas that makes you wonder why it took so long for someone to come up with. The sockets have another socket inside. 12 sockets are stored in the space previously taken up by 6 sockets. They’re nicely made by Klein Tools. Sizes are clearly etched on them as well as a color coded band. After working with them a while associating the color and size would become second nature. There’s a nice case to store and transport them. The latches are independently hinged as opposed to being a thin spot in the extrusion. You know those, the type of latch that detaches eventually after repeated flexing. A feature I really like is that here’s an open slot on the case where you can quickly inventory the contents without opening. When putting things away or leaving a job you can make sure,at a glance, you didn’t forget or misplace any of them. Handy for teachers at tech training or the responsible lead worker on the job, anywhere tools are shared. Maybe we’ll be seeing more of these double sockets in the future.

These sockets are spring loaded so that you get 2 sockets in one unit. If its the bigger size the inner socket will slide down and allow the bigger socket to do the job. If it’s the smaller socket, then nothing slides and you use the inner socket to do the job. 6 units and 12 sockets; smaller case to haul around. This is a 1/2 inch drive socket set.

Great product. Use them every day. Great for the garage but no lineman should be without a set.

Klein tools have always been on my radar as a quality tool so when I saw this impact set that has twelve sockets in a six two in one design I had to try it. The design is unique the one and one eighth socket has A fifteen/ sixteenths inside of it on down to the smallest one half inch has three eight socket inside it. The inside socket is spring loaded so it pushes back when using the larger size. I’ve already used them to rotate my tires and they worked great. Highly recommend
