I finally ordered a ratcheting wrench. It is so much simpler than picking up the wrench and repositioning it for every stroke. Unfortunately, there isn’t always enough space to use it. This tool feels good in the hand; at about 5oz, it has a solid feel without undo heft. Its 25-deg offset has proved to be a helpful feature that creates space for your fingers to wrap around the wrench. The ratcheting action has a very audible ‘click’ signifying positive, strong gear engagement, and the direction-reversing switch is located on the side, making it unlikely to be flipped by accident. But the switch does require firm pressure against a hard edge that can leave a noticeable imprint on your skin, especially if you toggle it with the side of your finger. Overall, I really like this tool. I just wish I could use it in more places.

Just a flip of the lever for reversing ratchet direction. This is a tool you will want to use all the time and it will make an awesome addition to anyone’s toolbox.

I have never owned this type of wrench, and after using it. I ask myself why not. This open end ratchet is so easy to use and less cumbersome compared to a socket set. With the open end there is no need to worry about needing deepwell socket to fit over long bolts. It has a different size on each ends so you get 2 wrench’s in on tool. The offset head is a nice feature and it will held save your knuckles. It is faster than picking up a socket and then determine if you have the right size. After using this wrench I will be adding to it until i have a complete set.

What is there to say about a ratchet tool? It works great, as expected. The tool is a good weight and easy to carry. Feels good in my hand while in use. You can change direction with a simple flip of the direction knob. The size of the openings are very common sizes, so worth the investment in the tool. Best of all, it’s made here in the USA. So you can trust the materials used to make this.
