What can you say? It’s just a strong magnet attached to a short tether with a matching clip for the rear of the meter. All things considered, it really should have been included with the meter at purchase.

Perfect fit for the Cl800. A must if you do any kind of industrial work. Nice to have 2 free hands to work the leads. Should be a stock item as it fits multiple Klein meters.

I purchased this to go with my M700 Klein meter. It does help, but i was surprised that the magnet isnt stronger to support the very meter it was design to go with. When working on HVAC/R systems, the magnet holds really well when it is on top of the equipment and the meter dangling down the side, but if the magnet is also on the side of the equipment it will allow the meter to slowly creep down due to the weight of the meter. If you can find an edge to prevent the sliding down it works great, but in my personal opinion it should be able to hold any of the Klein multimeters it was designed for without a doubt to its credibility. The magnet shiuld be stronger than it is

Magnet is very strong, holds meter very secure. Being a custom to having the magnet rigidly mounted to the meter wasn’t sure if I would like having it tethered. But it actually works far better.
