The metric folding Hex key is built with quality. I like that fact that it doesn’t feel cheap and its made of all metal. I have use it on some of my foreign tools that required to be opened and serviced and metric was what I needed. I would have to say this is probably the heaviest well built Hex key set I ever owned and I have owned many brands. I would recommend this to those who wants a tool to last and thats made of all metal.

I like good solid tools. This wrench set is definitely an example of what a good solid tool is. I will have to get one in the fractional sizes now. All the sizes unfold smoothly without binding and there is a spring steel insert in the handle body that keeps the wrenches from flopping around in an uncontrolled manner. Unless my kid ” borrows ” this one , I will never have to buy another one of these because it is built to last. I like it.

Klein makes quality products and this metric hex key set is a fine example. I have an extensive tool set from years of diesel engine and equipment repair I have three other Klein hex key sets, small and large standard size and small metric. This large metric hex key set completes the set. The case is marked with this size of each hex key and the keys are firmly attached at the swivel point. The hex keys are good tool steel and I have yet to break on in any of the sets I own. A good product and design.

Not your normal small, cheaply made hex key set. The Klein hex set is large, heavy and will outlast others that are available on the market. The base is solid and sturdy as are the five individual keys. You can really get some torque on what you are tightening because the keys will not twist or bend on you. The size of the handle allows you to put plenty of “umph” behind it and you do not have to worry about any tweaking of the tool in your hand. KLEIN has really put a lot of thought and effort into making a tool that with proper care should last you a lifetime. Any electrician, handyman, mechanic, basically any tradesman would be more than satisfied to have one of these hex sets in their toolbox

The Klein Tools Brand, Metric Metal Folding Hex-Key Set is an affordable, journeyman quality tool. Klein Tools is well known in the industry for producing high quality tools for tradesmen and do-it-your-self folks like me. I appreciate the high quality of Klein tools, having worked as a diesel mechanic in my career. This folding hex-key set is an outstanding tool for any tradesman’s tool belt and a homeowner’s tool box. Now retired, I will be carrying this Klein tool in my motor home for emergency repairs. As a tradesman, I would have been carrying it on my tool belt or box. Having had to lend my AC repairman my own hex key to service my AC after he lost one of his Allen Wrenches on a jobsite, this set is a lot easier to keep track of than individual wrenches and I know I will have a tough, US made tool on the road if and when I need one.

All metal design has the strength to apply extra leverage in the right angle position—a more rugged tool than plastic handle products. It’s the right choice for the tool bag. The jackknife folding style is compact, portable, and reduces hunting for the right size and misplaced keys. This set includes 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, and 10 mm sizes. Unlike the Klein Journeyman hex wrenches, the sizes are not engraved on the stems. Chamfered ends ease insertion. A few drops of oil applied to the hinged ends eases pivoting and prevents rust. Durable construction is consistent with the Klein Tools tradition. It does the job. Made in USA.

Klein Tools makes another fine product with this 6 hex key folding set. The six keys are 3,4,5,6, 8, and 10 mm. I mainly use the smaller keys, and do wish it had more keys like 1, 1.5, 2, 2.4, 4.5, and 5.5 mm which would make this a complete set. Of course if you have a job where you use only the sizes included, this is great as it fits in a pocket. Overall the tool is well made and better yet, made in the USA.

When I ordered the METRIC METAL FOLDING HEX-KEY (5-PIECE) set, my intention was to carry it with me when I went biking. Since the set was metric, that would fit in well with any basic adjustments I might likely need to make on my rides. When I received the Hex-Key set, I was surprised at the size and bulk of it (5 1/2″ long)! So, what I have done is keep the 5-PIECE METRIC METAL FOLDING HEX-KEY SET in the garage for bike adjustments before hand. That has worked out well!!Nothing wrong with the HEX-KEY SET, just bigger than expected.

This tool is much bigger and heavier-duty than I expected and I’m not complaining. The tool is all metal, no plastic parts to bend or break. You can fit your entire palm on the tool which gives you excellent leverage. I used it to tighten up the hex bolts on an office chair and it worked great. Now that I see how good it is I plan to buy the non-metric version.

The Klein hex-key is a heavy duty tool, which I really needed to tighten the screws on the handles of the water faucets on my sinks after replacing them. The hex key that came with them got lost and I couldn’t tighten it to stop water from leaking around the faucets. This unit is great to have because it has multiple hex keys all in one place.3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 8mm and 10 mm. Strong enough and heavy enough to make easy turns of the keys.
