Klein Tools Tape Measures offer inventive first-rate features derived from jobsite professionals, to make jobs easier and more efficient. A magnetic double hook has a center top portion for hanging onto conduit right side up AND upside down, while a 1-1/4 in. flared hook was designed specifically to pass-through 1-3/8 in. holes drilled for 1 in. conduit. This large magnet profile attaches to steel and along EMT conduit. A sealed tape brake panel is large enough to allow 2-3 fingers to operate at once for safe retraction, and keeps water and dirt out to prevent tape blade rust and degradation. The high impact rugged case is more durable, offers a better grip and stands up to use and abuse.

The tape measure was better than I thought with a smooth pull out . It can definitely be better with like a rubber coating to protect it from dings etc. It also looks like cheap plastic but overall its a great tape measure with the conduit multipliers on the back

Not your dad’s tape measure. Solid well built multifunctional. Heavy enough to know it’s not on your belt, shouldn’t leave it laying behind unexpectedly . Magnetic tip has come in so handy already, have had the tape measure about a month. Wished I had purchased much sooner. Definitely will do the job /s for me.

These lines are great in low-light conditions and when reading at a distance.The speed brake on the bottom is also appreciated, it feels solid and responsive at slow and fast retractions. The button is large enough for 1-2 fingers and feels ergonomic when in use..The other feature that really makes this pretty cool is the Conduit Bending Multiplier Table on the bottom of blade, it is convenient having that handy.Construction feels solid. I have thrown, dropped, slid, and crushed this tape and operation still feels new. Also, the orange body makes it easy to find tape at night. The metal pocket clip meets expectations, but I would have preferred a thick rounded wire clip. That style is more comfortable when used with belt. The nylon coating on tape is advertised to protect printing on tape, but I don’t think I’ve used it long enough to see benefit. I do however think that it helps keep the blade clean as it has been easier to wipe off mud and dirt. The magnetism on the hooks is the perfect balance. Strong enough to stay where you want it, but still easy enough to remove. I was able to get the 9 1/2 FT standout as advertised. 1.10 lbs is completely acceptable.This tool is made overseas. I would suggest checking out the “American Manufacturing” page on their website. I believe the information there will strengthen your confidence when buying from Klein Tools.As an apprentice electrician I’ve started down the rabbit hole of tool collection. I’m happy to have gotten such a great tape measure early in my career and I do highly recommend it to others. Three others on the job with me now each have one of their own. Great quality and great value.

I have a bunch of tape measures, because I am always working on projects, and they tend to stay at that project, until it is done. I got this one, because I love Klein, and I thought the double hook magnet was a great idea. The magnet works great when working with metal, and the hook on the top works well when trying to hook onto something from below. The fact the tape is 2 sided, has big easy to read numbers, and a brake are helpful. This claims a 9.5′ stand out, which it accomplishes by having a heavier curve to the tape starting around 7′.

The magnetic features seemed to be a step ahead above other tools, in ethe same clases of tools, Klein has a good reputation an quality insurance that the tools will be as durable and bad and supported as they advertise. as advertised. In my opinion this particular, product I feel like measuring I measuring tape we’re not up to par and or Kilein standard of product they produce. Now since I’ve never had issue with any of their other productside, I’m willing to give them maybe I just got a defective pair or a product that didn’t that didn’t get pulled from the quality assurance control during production run.

Although I returned mine for a smaller (16 ft) tape measure, I loved the magnetic feature and the double hook of this tape measure. Klein makes a great product, I just needed something that was a bit smaller. I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a 25 ft tape measure
