Klein Tools Tape Measures offer inventive first-rate features derived from jobsite professionals, to make jobs easier and more efficient. A magnetic double hook has a center top portion for hanging onto conduit right side up AND upside down, while a 1-1/4 in. flared hook was designed specifically to pass-through 1-3/8 in. holes drilled for 1 in. conduit. This large magnet profile attaches to steel and along EMT conduit. A sealed tape brake panel is large enough to allow 2-3 fingers to operate at once for safe retraction, and keeps water and dirt out to prevent tape blade rust and degradation. The high impact rugged case is more durable, offers a better grip and stands up to use and abuse.
- Magnet holds hook to conduit and steel studs
- Easy-to-read bold lines marked on blade every 1/8 in.
- Nylon-coated blade protects printing
- Up to 9-1/2 ft. stand-out
- Conduit bending table helps calculate offsets and saddles
- Clip holds securely to wide belts and pockets

NOTE: I was given this for free as a part of the Kline Crusaders program. This is my honest take on this tape & I will compare to the Milwaukee 48-22-5225 that I purchased. I received this on 6/5/17To start, the Kline actually feels slightly lighter. Both tapes are fairly good sized & fit well in the h&, no “winner” here. The # on the Kline tape are HUGE & provide for EASY viewing on all measurements down to 1/8″. The Milwaukee # are not undersized per-say but they certainly aren’t largein comparison. While the Milwaukee provides mm increments it’s not something I personally use often enough to care about. The bottom side of the Kline features a Conduit Bending Multiplier guide. Not something I’d use right now but certainly might come in h&y in the future. The Kline didn’t quite stand up to the 9 1/5 foot standout but it beat the Milwaukee at 100″. Both tapes have a magnet & double hook on the end. If you’re looking for a strong magnet, the Kline wins this one. I was able to hang the Kline at 5′ from a grid ceiling using only the magnet. The hooks on the Kline are also much larger for better grip. The lock on the Kline sounds a bit plastic-ey & feels cheap but currently provides a strong hold on the tape when locked. The Milwaukee feels much more rigid but they both seem to function the same, so far. The Kline also features a “temporary” lock on the bottom of the tape that you just squeeze to hold instead of having to completely lock the tape from moving.Belt Clip. I’m going to have to give this one to Milwaukee. Both clips easily slide on & off your pocket or belt w/o catching but the Milwaukee provides much tighter grip. I attached both to a piece of plexi glass & the Kline slides right off while the Milwaukee refused to come off without a lot of force. Overall, I think this is a great piece of hardware & would certainly get the same rating had I purchased it. There’s nothing in the Kline Crusaders program rules that says I have to post a positive review, it just said honest.

Great product. Does everything that other tapes don’t do. Great locking system, easy to set easy to release, 2 sided tape, finger touch brake, really strong magnet but not klunky tape tip. There were 3 on the shelf for sale bought all of them.

Great tape measure! I looked at all of the more common brands before buying this tape. This one has all of the right stuff. Large easy to read scale, strong magnetic bottom hook and a top side hook which are excellent for electrical work, a blade brake on the bottom to slow the tape return easily, and a solid locking mechanism. Another nice feature is that for inside measurements, the case has a squared off back side and a 3-1/2 add instead of 3-1/4. Just a little easier to compute. Good stand-out capability as well.

Tape stands out strong at long lengths. The magnet is very strong. The measurements in both sides of the tape are very easy to see making this a great tape for any job. If you get the tape muddy, make sure to wipe it clean before retracting it back into the housing.

I bought this tape measure and really like it. My only issue is that it’s a little flimsy and it needs a better magnet

Heavy duty tape with excellent features. The measurements on the bottom of the tape are very helpful as well as the double hook. The other electricians I work with want to get one now.
