I obtained this level for use where my 24″ and 6′ levels won’t fit.The tool is machined from a solid piece of aluminum and anodized in bright orangey-gold. All printing is bold, professional, and legible. There are four vials, clearly marked 30°, 45°, 90° and 0°. Each is locked in place with a plastic plug. The machining clearly determines the accuracy of the vials and I expect that dropping the tool would not affect them (I have not tried). Reversing the level on the same surface results in the same reading, as expected, at least on the 90° and 0° levels where this is possible (see pictures).Both top and bottom surfaces are machined to prevent slippage and the top surface is grooved for use on pipes and other rounded surfaces. The bottom surface has four strong magnets (see picture) for added stability on ferrous surfaces such as corner wall beading. When using the magnets, it helps to twist the level sideways to remove, as the magnets are quite strong.This is a fine tool and a welcome addition to my toolbox.

I was kind of skeptical in purchasing this level. The klein torpedo levels before looked cheap. This is a very important tool that i use daily. The magnets are strong and its solid. I havent used it yet, but im sure it will do the job.

This is now my go-to level for projects around the house. First thing I notice when I took it out of the package is that this thing is SOLID. I have another of similar size and it seems cheap and flimsy compared to this thing. I was curious about the strength of the magnets and when I went to put it up against the refrigerator it jumped out of my hand. When I tried to pull it off it wouldn’t let go; I had to lay it over on its side to break the connection.The vials are large and easy to read from top or side. It has 0, 30, 45, and 90 measurements. The 30 is a first for me on a level; perhaps one day I will have a need to use it.If I could change one thing about it I would like to see a marked ruler. Otherwise, a great addition to my tool box.

This is a nice level, both as a tool and a work of art. Very beefy, w/ 4 vials (level, plumb, 45 and 30 degrees) in a solid aluminum extrusion, w/ really strong magnetic inserts. Looks like it was designed with input from people who actually use levels- the billet has been machined to provide a clear view of the vials from both the side and top- one of those tools that feels good in your hand. The nose is tapered so it slips easily into the side pocket of your jeans.It’s a bit spendy, but tough enough to make it a good investment- you can pass it on to your granddaughter when she gets her union ticket.

This versatile Klein level provides alignment at elevations of 0°, 30°, 45° and 90°. Vials can be viewed from the side or top. (See photos.) Provides spot-on accuracy consistent with the iconic Klein brand. Rugged and durable enough to survive being dropped from a ladder and other forms of real world abuse. Four powerful magnets provide strong adherence to ferrous materials. Magnets are secured in a machined groove to prevent loss. In addition to the flat magnetic edge, the level has a V-groove edge for use on conduit/pipe. I carry Klein tools dating back to 1962. All of us are still in working order.
