Working as I wanted and needed. Did a lot of research to find the green lines and a plumb spot. I find the green lines work better on job sites.

Great lazer by Kline. Half the price of the dewalt 12v lazer and I find them comparable. Definitely recommend. Electrican in MI

It’s one of the cheapest green cross laser on the market at the moment. It performs as described and yet to give me any issues so I’m satisfied

Green is SO MUCH EASIER TO SEE. Why did they ever start with red lasers? Green is the new gold standard. I have a similar laser in red and the green is just hands down easier to see. This works like all cross lasers I have ever had, the laser beams “float” on a liquid of some kind. There is a little bobbing and shaking after you set it down until the beam situates itself, but once it’s there it’s totally accurate. You can choose a spot (dot), horizontal line, vertical line, or both lines (a cross). It has some ability to rotate on it’s base, and the base can be hung from a nail, so you have a little flexibility when finding a spot for it. The nail hanger does leave a little to be desired, you have to figure out how far below the nail hole the line appears and then add that to your measurement. I suggest writing it on the side of the unit in sharpee after you figure it out to prevent future headaches. That said, it’s a minor inconvenience that can be corrected on the first use, still a home run.

The Klein Tools Laser Level, Self-Leveling Green Cross-Line and Red Plumb Spot is a true asset to my job. About 90% of my work is done without any assistance and I am always looking for ways to operate easier and faster.Using the vertical line, I can mark where wall studs are located, making it easy to place screws when hanging cabinets. I can project a horizontal line on a wall then measure to find high and low spots on a floor. With the vertical and horizontal lines together, I can identify corners when cutting holes for receptacles and panels. One upcoming home project is to install a ceiling fan on my back porch. The ceiling is sloped, which can make placement a challenge. Using the plumb bob feature all I need to do is find the center of the patio then put the dot on the ceiling to see exactly where to hang the fan.To get the most out of this level I recommend using it in conjunction with a tripod (not included). It made adjusting the level easy when I had no metal to stick the magnet to and was preferable to making an unwanted screw hole for hanging. The mounting holes are standard size and work perfectly with my camera tripod.I have used various colored lasers over the years and find green much easier to see than the more common red. I had no problem locating the green lines outside in sunlight.

I purchased this tool to help with a deck project I am working on. I specifically used this tool to confirm that my ledger board was level prior to bolting it to the house band joist. I used my camera tripod to mount the tool on and placed it about 16 feet away so that I could project over a beam and make sure that the ledger was both level and aligned with the height of the beam. The green line was visible from 16 ft away and also auto leveled once I was within about 4 degrees. Overall the tool proved very valuable and I will definitely be using this again for other projects. I also wanted to note that I tested the distance that the laser line was visible and confirmed that on a semi overcast day (outside) the line was visible from about 60-70 feet away. It was a little faint but once you look closely it is visible and is not too blurry or distorted.

It works fine, just not as good as my Bosh laser. Doesn’t shoot as far, and isn’t as bright. But it gets the job done.
