Klein Tools Brand, 9 in. Heavy Duty Diagonal Cut Pliers with Angled Head are of premium Klein Tool quality. Cared for, diagonal cutters of this quality will likely last a lifetime and be passed down from one generation to the next. They would serve a tradesman well on some of the toughest jobs. There is a spring feeling to the handles which allows them to flex rather than break. I have actually broken the handles of lower quality pliers squeezing them with nothing more than my hands. After cutting a 16d steel nail, there was absolutely no deformation to the cutting edge and they cut delicate copper telephone wire clean in two pieces at the same location of the cutting edge as the steel nail. USA tool steel quality and comfortable plastic-coated handles make these Klein cutters a premium tool for do-it-yourself folks and craftsman alike.

I already own the 8″ version. Had to try these, just because. Not really sure if the extra inch makes a difference, but I haven’t used them on BX or screws yet. They are Kleins, so there isn’t anything better.

9″ Heavy Duty Diagonal Cut Pliers With Angled Head. that is a pretty accurate description of these Pliers. Like many of Klein’s pliers they are NOT insulated. the 9″ length gives you a lot of leverage. these will cut wires like most things, however where these shine is cutting harder things like Nails, screws & small bolts. All without damaging the cutting edges like you would with weaker Pliers. These are a GREAT addition to your tool bag. i tried cutting a few different things and was never let down.

These heavy duty diagnal cut pliers with angled head is just what I needed. They are not to heavy or large which would make them cumbersome to use. The jaws are sharp and the handles long enough to make cutting easy. I have used this pair multiple times working on my low voltage landscape lighting. This pliers made removing staples into wood much easier.

These are powerful pliers. We have used them to cut nails, screws, and wires of varying thickness. The longer handles give excellent leverage and make cutting even thicker nails or metal pieces fairly easy. If you are trying to strip wires these may not be the best pliers for that job because they are not very “delicate”, but for heavy-duty cutting duties this is the tool for the job.

It’s a Klein tool , they don’t make garbage. The rubber coated handles have a good feel to them, very comfortable. The longer handles for added leverage, reach and comfort , I like the angled head design for easy work in confined spaces. I have a 6″ pair of these that I bought years ago, the longer handles and more cutting surface makes these better to work with. I will primarily use these on copper wire, but they will cut hardened wire with no problem, such as bailing wire, etc.

These pliers work really well. I felt there was more than enough comfort in the handles while still giving you enough grip to work with, wet or dry. With the length of the handles I think cutting most wire should be a breeze, and while I don’t usually cut anything crazy, and can’t give a lot of detail on that side of things, I had no trouble cutting through chicken wire, mechanics wire, thermostat wire, or general electrical wire.

Same US-made Klein quality as the 8″ pair that they will be replacing in my bag.I’ve got diagonals from many brands, and after trying the others, I’ve been back to a tried-and-true 8″ Klein pair for a while now. No reason to change, other than I wanted to try these, with their added length. Can’t say that I noticed a huge difference cutting with these over the 8″, but the added reach is certainly beneficial.I will say, the action on these was buttery-smooth, right from the get-go – no need for a break-in period, or going to lengths to loosen them up. Fit and finish is excellent, as you’d expect from a Klein product.

the 9 inch heavy duty diagonal cut pliers with angled head is a high quality tool. They are built to cut through any wire that I will be working around and are strong enough to cut through the strongest of screws or nails. I would expect the pliers to last me my lifetime. This is an excellent tool for those in the electrical or construction trades. Very pleased with them!

I found that these heavy duty diagonal cut pliers really do make a difference. First of all they fit more comfortably in my hand than the others in my tool box. While I didn’t try to cut anything heavier than #8, It worked great. Not saying that it was effortless or like silk, it was effective. (Note, I did cut them separate and not all at once ). All-in-All, they should work well for the DIY, but also for the professional who wants to keep his satchel lighter

Would I recommend a “KLEIN TOOL”, always, and as long as they continue there quality and functionality, will always recommend them. These tools are never ever going to be HF prices, and rightly so. These tool, this pliers/diagonal cutter is one of the best you can buy. High quality, nice color, a must in a busy place, top of the line material. MADE IN THE US, so we/I pay for the quality. Added bonus, plastic shipping container snaps back together to keep pliers sharp for a long time.

None better, angled head is great for removing staples, ACSR rating makes them unstoppable. I had a pair 20+ years ago during my electrical days and wanted another ever since.
