As an Electrician, I put my tools to very hard use. I have had many of these over the years and used several brands of these pliers. I have found this Klein Linemans pliers to be the one I like the most and it durability is great.

Klein has always made solid tools and this is no exception. These side cutters are an ‘actual’ pair of ‘linesman’ quality pliers. You have a well insulated pair of legs to protect your hands from errant voltages. You have the blunt nose needed to grip a pair or three, wires and not tear the wires themselves. The front does not close down solidly on the wires, but they do get a good grip allowing you to get a solid twist, when you need it, and the side cutters are sharp enough to cut the bunch cleanly and stright. When you get to your grounded wires and have them together, there is a handy crimper at the handle end, that will let you get a good ‘bite’ on a copper sleeve and complete a solid crimp. Every part of these pliers were completely thought out by Klein U.S.A., to get that ‘MADE IN AMERICA’ quality needed for a good job.
