This Klein tool demonstrates outstanding craftsmanship. It has extremely smooth movement, precision grinding and durability that will last for years to come. One of the first things that struck me using the tool was how I could not identify the pivot point on the tool. The grinding and fit was so precise one cannot see the joint. When I opened and closed the tool a number of times a small amount of grease worked up from the joint highlighting where the pivot was. Wiping away that grease, the pivot seemingly disappears. I was able to cut through a 16d nail with ease and no damage to the cutting jaw. The crosshatch pattern on the jaw grips wires tightly. There is even a bolt thread holding opening in the hinge that is designed for 5/8 inch bolts or rods. This gripped well without damaging the threads of the bolt I tested it with.
