These pliers are well made and well balanced. The handle is rubber lined for comfort and a good grip. I really like the spring action that allow the pliers to stay open. The pliers have more aggressive teeth than most wire pliers. This allows the pliers to better grip wire for twisting and pulling. The pliers cut easily and smoothly. These pliers are made by Klein Tools and make a great addition to my tool box.

Aggressive knurl is an accurate description. These pliers have teeth that bite like a shark for gripping, pulling, and twisting annealed rebar tie wires. The blades are offset for side-cutting and extend close to the hinge to improve leverage. A coil spring provides self-opening action enabling repeated one-hand operation. Hook bend in handle, characteristic of pliers designed for ironworkers, is claimed to provide “added grip and leverage.” Possibly the better grip helps to prevent dropping. A small hole to attach a tether would be a useful product improvement. Riveted hinge has smooth, precise, wobble-free operation. Not the lowest priced pliers, but built to last—a Klein tool. Made in USA.

This is a replacement from my 20 year old model that still works today. I love the quality of these products. Its nice to have a new model. The product is made of quality materials. The spring tension is perfect. The rubber grips are easy on the hands. The pliers are very strong and have good grip for twisting wires. It cuts with ease. Over all I always recommend this brand.

This is a nice set of quality pliers. I made several cuts on 10-2 wire and twisted several wires together for wire nuts. The jaws hold very well with their rough edge. The long handles make it easy for twisting and the spring loaded hinge makes it easy to grab the next wire. Also wired some #8 wire, it holds cut and twists the wire equally well. This is a tough set of pliers

I will never buy a different pair of pliers again. The teeth on these have yet to slip off of tie wire as i tie rebar.

MADE IN USA! Excellent pair of iron workers pliers that fit well in my hands. I finally got to do some temp fence work at my job and used tie wire and 2′ x 2′ temp fencing. The pliers worked like a dog and got the job done with flying colors. They cut through the fencing and tie wire with ease. Twisting the tie wire came very easy with the grip of the teeth. The retracting spring made it easy on my hands as well to work with the tool. As you know, when working with tie wire; using gloves can be a bit of a challenge so every bit of help counts when you have to do several hundred feet of temp fencing. The quality and durability of the product and most importantly the time it saves you by making your job easier makes this item well worth it.

This is a very durable and rugged pair of pliers and I used it immediately after obtaining it for normal around the house jobs as well as some automotive work. It’s great for cutting wires and small items, screws and nails. I wish they came with a clip or latch to keep it closed. That is the one thing that is missing, but the utilization is great, so I’m giving it 5 stars.

This pair of pliers have a good, heavy-duty feel to them. The serration of the knurl is rather impressive instead of just grooves, like regular pliers. The spring is also a great feature for ease of use. Overall, they’re a good solid tool for anyone with solid demand for wire work, such as tying rebar, bundling materials, or overall repair projects.

This is a nice hefty pair of pliers. They are 9 ½” long when closed and have avery rugged knurling in the jaws to get a really strong grip on the workpiece. There is a wire cutter / side cutter incorporated in the jaws. The handles have a bright red plastic covering but are not rated for electrical work and there is a warning on them that they are not to be regarded as insulated. It is made from forged steel. The joint is very smooth and secure.I was able to cut coat-hanger wire easily with the integrated cutter.Made in the USA!
