A good pair of lineman pliers is essential in every toolbox. These pliers are professional quality, and allow easy 14 and 12 gauge wire twisting, cutting, and manipulation. The blue coating on the handles is solidly attached. If the user is careful, the coating will maintain some protection against voltage, though it is not rated for high voltage use of any sort. These now occupy a place in my electrical toolkit, taking the place of a cheaper set that had its fulcrum rust and became difficult to use.
