Most wire cutters dull out and cause you to buy them over and over. Yet these have lasted me a while and so far they have not even dulled. 7 months of constant use and they still continue to cut as if they were new. Obviously you need to maintain your tools but with the right maintenance they will last for a long time. Klien really does make top quality hand tools

I am a union electrician and use and abuse my tools on the job daily. The cutting power is great, there is one negative, and it is, that its not the best to get NM staples out of studs, its flat, whereas the blue handle pliers are angled to pull the staples out easily. I have had this tool in my tool pouch, ever since I came into the trade, and will continue to use it.

Klein makes quality tools, I am replacing a set of diagonal cutting pliers I’ve had for 20 years……… The cutting surface has nicks from cutting into hot wires. My bad !!!!!!! The old ones still worked but I was ready for some new cutters.

This pair of cutters is good and sharp. The have a small amount of a bend at the tip and a straight handle so they can be helpful for many sizes of wire cuts. If you get into remodeling and you need to remove a old nail in a box, another pair with more bend in the hande would be more helpful. This pair is great for everything else involving wire cuts up to about a size 6. I have only had these cutters for about 2 weeks but i have used them for many hours. They are great as a second pair if you use some with more of a bend more frequently.
