Good news. This tool is made in America unlike most of the other Klein tools. I use this tool to fabricate patch cables. These cutters really get inbetween the wires in order to snip the spline. Then, before running the wires through the connector, I am able to get a perfect flush of the wires so that they do not cross when inserted. I could perform open heart surgery on a hamster with these cutters. Great tool.

Very precise and made in Texas I am very happy with how quickly I could put this tool to use. It is exactly what I need when cutting non metal stuff like zip ties or plastic around wire.

Love it. Does what it should. Did notice some wear (chips) on the blade when I cut thicker gauge wire (which is not what it’s made for, but what I had at the time).

It’s a handy, little tool for cutting florist’s type wire and was less expensive than wirecutters that were in the regular tool section (this was in the cable section near lighting). However, if there was a way to close it for safety purposes, I couldn’t find the mechanism.
