The head of this pliers is slimmer than that of the Channel Lock type, which makes it easier to get flat against the side of an electrical box to tighten a lock ring. It also does not have the burdensome pivot bolt that other pliers have. Unfortunately, it is not made in the U.S.. It is made in Germany, by Knipex, for Klein.
