The opportunity to participate in the seeds programs is truly a pleasure and I am enjoying the experience of finding out about products that I may have missed even with the hours and hours I have spent in the McDonough and Fayetteville Home Depot stores. The case in point is I needed a small wrench to work on my smaller working equipment. This size is hard to find, but there it was on the Home Depot website. Thank you!

I have quite a few different tools made by Klein. I think all of my tools for electrical are made by Klein. I have always enjoyed the quality of their tools with out the steep price. Though I haven’t purchased any Klein tools in a long time. I see the quality of the tools has not suffered. Had the opportunity to grab these so I picked up the entire set with 8″, 6″, and 4″ adjustable wrenches. These are great adjustable wrenches. There have been many occasions where I just did not have a wrench thin enough to get into an opening to loosen a nut or bolt. I can specifically remember one time. I took an adjustable wrench that I had and I used my grinder to grind down the jaws thin enough to fit into the opening I was trying to get into. That doesnt work very well. especially for a tight bolt, because the heat made in the grinding process makes the jaws brittle and they tend to break and you just ruined a perfectly good tool for a nut or bolt that you werent even able to get off. So I find these slim jaw adjustable wrenches to be very useful. I assume Klein used a harder steel for the jaws because their thinness does not seem to have any affect on their strength. A couple things to pay attention to with adjustable wrenches is how smooth the adjustment screw opens and closes the jaws and how much play there is in the adjustable jaw. The screw on these opens and closes the jaw very smoothly and there is a very minimum amount of play in the adjustable jaw. One thing I really liked when i was giving these a try is the scale. The wrenches have a metric scale on one side and an standard scale on the other. I found the scale to be quite accurate. It goes a long way to getting you at least close to the size nut or bolt you are using these on.

Tool worked as expected for the application that I bought it for. The tool was made in Spain which I also appreciated.

This is one of the best adjustable wrenches I have ever owned. The thumb wheel operates smoothly across the entire range of adjustment. The slim jaw will make this wrench more useful in tight spaces. There is a SAE scale (1/2 inch max) on one side of the wrench and metric (13 mm max) on the opposite side. Comfortable rubberize handle comes standard. This item is made in Spain. Warranty through Klein tools and is for the life of the product.

Fantastic little wrench! This tiny adjustable wrench is not a toy, though its small size and brightly colored handle got the attention of my young kids—they love it! They love that it has a nice weight, and they call it their “real tool.” It operates well—the knurled worm drive is smooth and doesn’t bind up, and they love that it works well. It does work well! I’m developing confidence in the standard and metric scales printed on the side; I’m always surprised that they’re correct. I typically prefer to use an actual box end wrench, especially for little stuff, because small bolts are usually in tight spots, but this wrench, with its diminutive size and shaved jaws make it a breeze to get in and out, and since the jaw stays where you want it instead of moving a bit with lesser wrenches, it’s a perfect little wrench to keep handy. The plasti-dip on the handle is thick, protecting surfaces, and though it’s not rated to suppress arcing, it sure does not hurt in case you’re in a tight spot with a live wire…though one should always turn off the power when working with exposed wires, of course. I like this little wrench a lot. It is a solid, smooth tool, just what I expect from a Klein. I expect this to be a lifetime tool. I’ll throw another review up in a decade or two, and I imagine I’ll be saying the same things as I am now, and by then I’ll probably have to redip the handle since this wrench will be with me all the time, bouncing around from job to job in my tool bag. This is a solid purchase, and will pay for itself with time-savings from not fishing for different box wrenches. And it just FEELS right.

This small 4″ adjustable wrench is the greatest tool for any tool box. The day I received it I was working on putting 2 counter tops together and didn’t have a wrench thin enough to tighten the bolt heads. This small wrench with 1/2 width jaw saved my day. It’s a very handy tool to have and I will be looking for larger ones to complement this one in my tool box.
