This wrench has turned out to be a great addition to my tool collection. I have several adjustable wrenches already, but nothing this size. The plastic coating on the handle provides for a great grip-surface in your hands. I also really like the scale on the adjustment for fastener size. It allows you to measure the width of the fastener and then select the approptiate socket. I am sure I will get a lot of use from this wrench.

Works just as well as any adjustable wrench but has one feature that others do not have, it has slim jaws that allow it to fit into some tight places. That will get you into some tight places other wrenches would not fit into, due to the thickness of their jaws. I hope the jaws hold up in use and apply enough holding power in future use. So far works great and has many uses.

I am pleased with this tool, because of it’s small size, and large jaw opening. The tool is also ground down on one side, to get into some tight spots: which I seem to get into quite often, being a licensed plumber. Every time I reach for it, I get a good feeling, which I get, with every good quality tool.

I have quite a few different tools made by Klein. I think all of my tools for electrical are made by Klein. I have always enjoyed the quality of their tools with out the steep price. Though I haven’t purchased any Klein tools in a long time. I see the quality of the tools has not suffered. Had the opportunity to grab these so I picked up the entire set with 8″, 6″, and 4″ adjustable wrenches. These are great adjustable wrenches. There have been many occasions where I just did not have a wrench thin enough to get into an opening to loosen a nut or bolt. I can specifically remember one time. I took an adjustable wrench that I had and I used my grinder to grind down the jaws thin enough to fit into the opening I was trying to get into. That doesnt work very well. especially for a tight bolt, because the heat made in the grinding process makes the jaws brittle and they tend to break and you just ruined a perfectly good tool for a nut or bolt that you werent even able to get off. So I find these slim jaw adjustable wrenches to be very useful. I assume Klein used a harder steel for the jaws because their thinness does not seem to have any affect on their strength. A couple things to pay attention to with adjustable wrenches is how smooth the adjustment screw opens and closes the jaws and how much play there is in the adjustable jaw. The screw on these opens and closes the jaw very smoothly and there is a very minimum amount of play in the adjustable jaw. One thing I really liked when i was giving these a try is the scale. The wrenches have a metric scale on one side and an standard scale on the other. I found the scale to be quite accurate. It goes a long way to getting you at least close to the size nut or bolt you are using these on.

This is one of the best adjustable wrenches I have ever owned. The thumb wheel operates smoothly across the entire range of adjustment. The slim jaw will make this wrench more useful in tight spaces. There is a SAE scale (1.5 inches max) on one side of the wrench and metric (39 mm max) on the opposite side. Comfortable rubberize handle comes standard. This item is made in Spain. Warranty through Klein tools and is for the life of the product.

Slim Adjustable Wrench. An adjustable wrench with both SAE and metric scales to help dial in the size of a nut or bolt. Great on electric motor shafts for pumps where space is tight. It is considered an 8″ wrench due to the length with a 1-1/2 inch extra wide jaw. The capacity is 5/16 inch larger than other similar 8 inch wrenches. pretty good range of motion in confined areas.

This is the best adjustable wrench I have ever owned. The adjustment is smooth and it holds its position well, unlike many cheaper wrenches. The metric & inch markings on opposite sides is handy for a quick size check and is very accurate. Quality tools are worth the price.

There frequently seems to be a situation where my wrenches will not fit into the available opening to loosen or tighten a nut. (Holding the arbor on my table saw or plumbing issues, for instance.) The jaws on this wrench are only 3/16” thick, as compared to 5/16” on my standard 8” adjustable, making it much easier to fit into tight places, yet they meet standard testing requirements for strength. The adjustment mechanism is snug with very little play, opening to 1 11/16”, compared to 1” on my other 8” adjustable. Add to that the rubber grip and a standard scale on one side and metric on the other so there is no more guessing as to size. This tool is a winner.

I have used Klein tools for years with no disappointments and this little 6″ slim-jaw adjustable wrench is no exception. The slim jaw makes getting into small spaces a breeze. Another detail I really like is the markings on the side that gives both standard and metric sizes which make for very quick adjustments. The plastic coating on the handle is also a plus.

I am a building and remodeling contractor and have been for 48 years. As such, I use all kinds of tools every day, so when I see a unique tool that fills a need, I grab it. This is one such tool. I have numerous adjustable wrenches of various sizes, but this one is one of those unique tools that fills a need that others don’t. It has a slim jaw that will fit into spaces that others will not, and for that reason it has earned a place in my collection of specialty tools.
