My first thought was that they are pretty similar, size and weight wise to the journeyman linesmen,but they are listed as heavy duty. They cut nice, and feel durable. I received these Klein 9” heavy duty diagonal cutters from Klein as a promotion in return they asked for a honest review. These cutters are huge, about the size of my linesmans. The size did make them a little more of a hassle to carry them in my pouch, so I ended up just keeping them in my tool bag and take them out as needed. I did cut a couple 1/4-20 bolts with them but it still took a good deal force to cut it. I do not see these as a good everyday carry tool.

The new Klein Tools J2000-59 is well worth the money. These things will cut everything! They feel the same as the Klein 2000 Lineman’s Pliers so it’s familiar. They cut with ease and very little strain to the hands. The handles are comfortable as well. Great addition to the Journeyman Series.

I Have been given a great opportunity from Klein tools. I am a member of Klein Crusaders and I have been given a pair of 9” journeyman heavy-duty diagonal-cutting pliers for free. With additional incentives for a honest review of this product. I have had these for a month now. At first receiving the pliers the seemed to be well built. They needed to be broke in just like most tools. Right from the start I noticed a gap in the cutting edge. That gap makes it difficult to cut small stranded wire half the time leaving a strand to two uncut. If you need to cut nails or screw it will do it. Anything smaller and there is to much effort. #kleintools #kleincrusaders
