These so far are the best cutters I have ever used. They cut screws with ease and still made in the USA. The handles are a little bulky but it helps, they even cut through 8/3 mc. I will always be a Klein user but even more now.

I have three generations of Klein diagonal cutters and truthfully the oldest, most simple cutters did the job just as well if not better than my two journeymen level cutters.I think the grips are comfortable but they are more bulky and more difficult to clamp shut.

The 9in diagonal cutters are definitely bigger than others i have used.not just in length but are built more to a lineman’s pliers standard. The tool comes broken in more than others I have bought from Klein so that is a plus. The cutter can power through most things i need to cut and the journeyman grip is comfortable

I just received a free pair from #kleincrusaders to try out and review.My initial thoughts are compared do my 8″ side cutters these things are huge. They don’t seem to fit in my hand as well. I cut some 10/3 with them. They both cut about the same. The 9″ ones are more comfortable,I noticed less shock in my wrist due to the thicker grips. Overall I feel like they are a solid tool and they cut very well. #kleintools

What a great heavy duty product. The 2000 series Grips are comfortable so when you’re squeezing to cut that nail it doesn’t pop through and slam shut driving metal into your hands like other diagonal cutters. 9 inches gives you alot of leverage. Is everything you want to cut with your side cutters but can’t reach because of the pliers on top.The head is large with lots of cutting surface area.

Does not cut very easy single stranded 4AWG wires. Cables like a 14AWG with 4 wires you need some power to cut it at owns.

I haven’t used these much yet, put them in my go bag, we’ll see. They are well made as expected from Klein, a little awkward, based more on the lineman plier profile than regular diagonals so big. The blades have an air space when closed so don’t expect to cut small wire cleanly, use regular diags.
