These Klein Tools Lineman’s Pliers are induction hardened and have a hot-riveted joint for smooth and powerful action without handle wobble. Their unique tempered handle design, with dual material Journeyman handles provide a better grip and absorbs the “snap” when cutting wire, screws, nails or ACSR. These side-cutting pliers also have cross-hatched knurled jaws, and built in channels for pulling fish tapes without damage.

Very good quality! I have Klein’s for over 30years. I did try Greenlee brand before this purchase (getting cheap at my age), they lasted about a month on the job with normal use. Hitting things with the Greenlee’s just loosens them up. Buy the Klein’s! Very versatile with tape pulling slot and crimper!

Work as electrician many years and lots of tools pass by my hands. In general when working with Klein Tools, I expect top quality product, but not this time. They are great for twisting, pulling, crimping, and cutting copper wires only. Handles are great, good leverage. My biggest disappointment was when tried cutting screw with my brand new Klein’s and got hole on the cutters on the first attempt. Material obviously is not hardened enough. Not stand by it’s reputation. My other competitor name brand 30$ pliers cut trough screws no problems for many years without chip or dull on the cutters. Now with the chip on the cutters they are worthless.

Klein really stepped up to the plate bringing the Crimping and Tape Pulling features to the Journeyman series. Recommended for any electrician or inside wireman whether you have never picked up a tool or have been in the trade 50 years. Worth its weight in gold.
