Personally I find T handle Hex Key’s to be much easier to use where you need leverage, such as automotive work. These are very high quality T Handle Hex Key’s made in Slovenia not China. They are very comfortable handles with rubber so keep them clean of grease and oils so they’ll last longer. That said these are also very long Hex Keys which is both a pro and a con, when you need the added leverage or reach these are wonderful but in tight area’s they simply wont work.

The Klein Hex Journeyman Hex is a quality tool. The molded plastic handle is smooth and comfortable when using. The plastic appears to be a very durable plastic and the Hex size is clearly marked on the handle for easy identification. The metal shaft is made of solid metal to withstand hi-torque applications. This tool will work well for the DIYer and the professional mechanic

This is a Heavy Duty T-HandleI really like the length and weight of this Klein 1/4″ Hex wrench. I’ve got a couple of HF T-Handle wrenches and you can tell the difference quickly between the two. This one seems to fit nicely in to the socket of the screw heads and will take the torque I can give it w/o the shaft rotating around. It may be the heat treatment and tempering that keeps it from twisting. I also like the grip of the T-handle. Its bulky enough to fit well in your hand vs the thinness of the other handles I have. Also, the design allows you to easily find the size by looking at the top of the wrench and its embossed in the metal shaft.

The Klein Tools 1/4 in. Hex Journeyman 9 in. T-Handle Allen wrench was designed to last. The handle fits my hand well. I put two 2″ x 4″ receptacle boxes back-to-back using Allen cap screws to help demonstrate how well the wrench could reach into a deep area and still be used to tighten or remove a screw. If attaching a heavy gauge wire to a master breaker that had an Allen screw, the job could be done perfectly to minimize resistance and resulting heat. If the space was not constrained, the 9 in T-Handle could be rotated 90 degrees for even more leverage.
