Klein’s Wire Stripper / Cutter / Crimper Heavy-Duty Multi Tool is built with the durability of pliers, the sharpness and precision of a wire stripper and an integrated crimper. This American-made tool provides durable wire cutting, stripping, crimping and twisting plus bolt shearing in one tool. Four times (4X) stronger than traditional Klein wire strippers. This tool strips 8-18 AWG solid and 10-20 AWG stranded wire and crimps 10-20 AWG stranded. Easily twists three wires at a time.

Built to last and made in the USA. It looks good and it works good. The curved handles allow you to deliver comfortable power to the business end of the tool. The tool is substantially heavier than run of the mill strippers but well balanced. There is no play between the two halves of the tool, indicating very tight tolerances. The side cutter blades are the sharpest I’ve ever experienced for this type of tool. It makes a satisfying click when it slices a wire in two. The screw cutter makes a clean cut without leaving a burr. It’s become a welcome addition on my tool belt!

As always, you just can’t beat Klein tools. These wire strippers are not a disappointment. Having the stripper and wire cutter in the same tool makes electrical installation or repairs a breeze. These would make a great addition to any professional or handyman’s tool box. The curved handle makes for a very strong and comfortable tool. The ability to shorten screws is a big plus.

I selected it because my wire stripper has seen better days after 40 yrs use. The Klein name gives me confidence for another 40 yrs use with this newly designed tool. I like the feel of it. The specific feature is the heavy duty quality with a crimper for small aznd large wire terminals and more. I use it for all my wiring/electrical installations. Great quality! Easy to use. It’s working out as planned. I like it a lot.

I’m happy to get a new Klein tool wire-stripper crimper in the tool box – there are always wires that need something around here. Today I had decided to clean up one of our old decorative frames, real heavy and had wild nails sunk in all around the edges, and I knew that the wire needed to be replaced, so there was the wire/cutter/crimper/bolt cutter/pliers-ended/stripper, and I got to work on it. Like the way these rest in the hand, nice rubbery handle covers. I used the whole thing, except I didn’t need to cut any bolts today! Made that project easy peasy!

I recently got pair of these strippers and they are wonderful. I did shoot some wd40 on them and loosen them up right off the bat but I prefer a lot of play on my tools. The lineman like tip makes it easy to grab ko’s out of boxes also twist wire the strip very easily and have plenty of cutting force. This would be a great addition to anyone tool collection!

Just got these and been working then out for the last few days. They are excellent in the pouch. Strip clean and cutter is sharp. Pretty close to having a lineman and stripper in the same tool. This Klein product lives up to the name heavy duty. My old wire strippers look like a children’s toy when put beside these bad boys. They look like they’ll last forever. The slight curve in the padded handles gives it a nice feel in the hand and the weight of this tool is nice and substantial. The cutting and stripping sections of this tool are all placed towards one side which gives you a lot of control for precision work. I’m impressed with the overall quality of this item!

My new Klein heavy duty wire stripper/crimper pliers are pro quality. They are multi purpose and can cut, strip all normal size wiring. The plier tip is perfect for twisting. They feature 2 bolt cutting holes for #8 and #6 screws. A handy terminal crimper is located behind the hinge. My favorite feature is the comfortable curved grip. I recommend these for professionals or avid DIYers.

The klein heavy duty wire stripper is a very handy tool packed with features. It has pliers on the tip to bend wires or smash and loosen the insulation in the wire before stripping. It has holes to cut the insulation off most used wire sizes, induction hardend cutting knives that gives a long cutting life. The tool is solid, no wiggle or play in the pivot point and with the curved handle fits great in my hand. This tool is better than my last multi use wire tool. It is more comfortable, more useful with all it can do and will be my go-to wire stripping tool. You will not be disappointed in this tool.

I have used this tool daily for about 1 month now. Our company does electrical and hvac install and troubleshooting. I head into the customers location carrying only my meter, my Klein 11 in 1 screwdriver, and this Klein Kurve heavy duty stripper. This tool has replaced my linesman pliers, my wire strippers, my crimpers, and my long nose pliers. Greatly reducing the weight of my service bag. Most importantly, it does the job of all those tools equally as well, if not better. A lot of tool manufacturers attempt to make a multifunction tool, but most are not very good at it. You’re usually left with a lot of empty promises and a tool that rarely gets used. That is never the case with Klein. I love my Klein Kurve heavy duty strippers and crimper tool. It cuts heavy wire with ease, trims bolts like butter, makes perfect crimps, strips wire effortlessly, and has no problem reaching in the back of a furnace cabinet or junction box to grab a part that has fallen out of reach. Best of all, this one tool can also twist a bundle of wires and make a perfect pig tail. I highly recommend this tool!

Klein Tools has provided me with free product and additional incentives to provide an honest review of this product.Klein Tools Klein-Kurve Heavy-Duty Wire Stripper/Crimper (K12065CR) is a very sturdy wire stripper. It comes in a normal clamshell package that is very easy to open. On one side the stripping holes are labeled with a light grey print. The cutting blades and stripping holes are all on the front side of the stripper. I have found that it will strip most 18AWG stranded wires with very little effort, as long as you can find the right slot.The handle is very comfortable. I usually hold it with the curve side against my thumb. Unfortunately when I strip the wires I typically use (18AWG multi-conductor wire), I end up flipping the stripper over so I can’t see which hole I need to use since the back side isn’t marked.The other main drawback I have is that because it is designed as a heavy-duty stripper, it is very wide and hard to maneuver in the tight spaces I have to work in as a BAS controls technician. I would expect that in normal everyday usage, this is a hard set of strippers to beat!#kleintools#kleincrusaders
