In the last few months this tether gave me the confidence to:1.) Take my powerdrill up my sailboat mast to replace my weather system2.) Zipline with a handheld go-pro (control the views better but keep it handy!)3.) Haul various tools up the side of my house re-pointing brickIf you don’t want to lose something, hurt someone, or just inconvenience yourself then grab a tether. It’s easy to attach to almost any tool with a loop and cinch and saves you a range of hassle.

The klein tool tether is top knotch. The teacher is solidly built and very robust. They make it very easy to attach it to what ever tool your afraid of dropping. It not hard to remove and switch tools you have it attached to. But with the price of it I would recommend buying a few and just leaving them attached to the ones most used and maybe keep a extra one around for a odd tool you may need to use. The carbiner is made very well and doesn’t unhook by accident

I love Klein tools. Everything they make is professional quality and mostly made in the USA. I got this for working on a ladder. I work alone. Typically no one is below me (maybe my dog), but at least once a day, I drop something; especially when it is super cold out. Got this to save things from breaking when they fall and save me from going down and up the ladder. It works well. Most things I am able to find a way to cinch the tether too. The length unstretched is perfect for me when connected to my belt. Allows me to fully extend my arm. The only negative, like most safety equipment, it gets in the way sometimes, and I have to fish it through the rungs.

This tether was made for a guy like me. I can say the quality is great. I like the metal clip on the end of it. Great for clipping to a tool belt. I also like the ability of sliding the clip under the tool belt in case anything gets tangled with the lanyard. It’s made of good sturdy material and is sewn so that if a heavier tool is dropped that the stitching will break and slow the decent of the tool. I like the slide built on the tool end. It’ll securely slide tight to the handle of the tool. A good product.

10 LBS. TOOL TETHER by Klein ToolsAs can be expected, another great product from Klein. As I have gotten older, I have dropped tools a couple of times while on a ladder. I started to use old hockey laces– which work– but get tangled. This my second (but different style) of Klein Tool tether. This is works on my impact driver (I have a ring on it already). The stretchy part works nice and allows ample movement when clipped on my tool belt.

I just got my Klein 10 lbs tool tether. And i love it. It keep my drive safe from falls. And not hitting some one on the head. This is a must have tool. First of all. If your on a ladder you do not want your tool.to fall on the ground. You can hit someone. Or if you drop your drill or impact drive it can and will break have you see the cost of a replacement drill . So stay safe get your self this klein tether. You put one side with the clamp on your belt loop. And the other side on the drill. It will fit all size of drills and impact driver.

I have been a builder remodeler for 49 years, and as such I have many opportunities to use tools at heights. One of the dangers of working with tools at heights is dropping the tool, which becomes a projectile, that can do considerable damage to person or property. In the past I’ve cobbled things together to restrain tools and keep hold of them. But in recent years the industry has started to make tools like this 10 LBS. TOOL TETHER more readily available, and that’s a good thing. This one is of high quality, and works very well for work requiring keeping hold of your tools at heights. Therefore, I highly recommend their use!

For anyone that takes a valuable tool onto a scissors lift, this is a must. It’s such a small investment to protect our expensive purchases. I forgot to test it from high up but then again I did stretch it hard. The carabiner is big enough to attach a standard harness. And the spring clips will squeeze onto tools even if the tool itself doesn’t have an attaching loop. Klein is a brand I can trust and I regret not getting one earlier.Ladders, SkyJacks, Lifts, or anything that takes you up high, I recommend attaching your tools to this Klein tether.
