This little gadget works flawlessly; it can do only one job, but does it perfectly. It will probably wear out faster than the more expensive coax stripping tools, like the one I can’t find that’s around the shop someplace, but I only needed a few F connectors to wire up some new video stuff, and I already have a really nice crimper that I DID find. If you only need a few around the house, then I definitely think you should grab this little gem and a 10-pack of RG-6 F-style twist-on connectors (Internet 202276256 Model 85-053 SKU #324214 — and, no, I don’t get a commission for this).

Easy to use but still had to strip the foil layers off by hand.

Easy to use, but can strip off deeper levels if your not careful. Use some scrap wire to practice. Little over priced for the average diy person who may use this once or twice.

Thought I could cut the cable to proper length on my own. Sounds simple, right? No. This cutting tool makes both cuts in 3 sec. worth every penny. But it

This is not a tool I will use often but I needed it and got it. It is well designed and worked easily and effectively. I have a few Klein tools and am satisfied with all of them.

Works great. READ THE DIRECTIONS. I didn’t the first time, messed-up one cut, but it was a simple re-do. Note that there is a collar that slides — it blocks the cable from going too far in so you can get the “tiered cut” with the innner copper wire extending out.I got it with the crimping tool, now I have HDTV via an antenna in several rooms in my home.

This is not for cable pros, this is for making a few patch cables or a handful of attic runs. It works fine for those instances.
