I’ve been in the cable industry for over a decade. This stripper is a good one. It preps better than 90% of the clamp style prep tools. It also eliminates the need for 2 different prep tools. If you are a cable installer or contractor that does installation, this will work well for you. I had one of these for a little over 2 years before it got lost. It never failed to prep with a nice clean cut. I had to buy this to replace the one I lost, and I have no doubt that this one will last just as long as the one it is replacing. The only thing I would change is to flip the loop around to the other side as it is somewhat counterintuitive. Once you get used to it it becomes second nature, but at first it is a little awkward.
