I terminate network cables all day and i can confidently say this punch-down works. The only issue i have is the locking mechanism for the dual sided tip. It comes loose from time to time while I’m working.

I’ve used a bunch of other punch down tools from other manufacturers and I have to say, after trying this one, I like it the best. I wasn’t so sure at first because of it’s larger size, but that is, in fact, the reason I like it the most, it fits my hand, which is larger, very well and is very comfortable to hold. When you have a bunch of terminations to do, you want something that is comfortable to use, plus it works really well. I really recommend this tool!
