The grip is very comfortable in the hand. It is coated with a plastic that has a bit of texture to it so they don’t easily slip. The workmanship on the metal is high quality. It has a very smooth action and a good cutting edge that lines up perfectly. It is built in very heavy duty manner and should last for many years. I would definitely recommend it.

Made in Germany and built to last. There is just enough angle on the head of these to get close to a surface and make a nice cut. The plastic is molded on to the handles and does not slip and the handles are long enough to provide some leverage as well as having a bump to keep your hand away from the cutting end. The cutting surface is sharp right from the package. Highly recommend!

When the carpenter’s installed cedar wood siding over the plywood sheathing on my garage walls, they used long stainless steel siding nails. The nails extend about 1″ into the garage, past the plywood. I wanted to install shelves between the 2″ x 6″ framing, but the siding nails were in the way. I tried cutting the nails off with a standard 7″ long diagonal cutter, but I just didn’t have enough leverage. These Knipex 10″ angled diagonal cutters had no problem cutting off the nails. The 12 degree angled head & the pivot point connector is flush to the surface, permitting me to cut off the nails nearly flush to the surface of the plywood. That was a big savings of time & work. This diagonal cutter feels very comfortable in my hand. The broader, thicker, comfortable handle grips, covers more surface area of my hand, permitting me to squeeze harder on each cut & work longer without fatigue, on repetitive difficult heavy duty wire fencing cuts. I was also able to easily cut: 10-2 600 volt wire, #4 gauge Copper power cable & 3/8″ outside diameter Aluminum stranded ground wire. Even after all those cuts the cutting edge shows no sign of wear. I’ll put these cutters in my tool belt along with the other essential tools I use. This is a great product!

High torque design makes these a staple in the tool box. Constantly buy the cheaper ones thinking it is a good idea, only to be disappointing when needed. Got these and was immediately impressed with the ease of cutting and the “sharpness” of the cutters. I liked the angle design to get into the surface closer without scraping my knuckles. Defiantly am getting more of these for my other tool boxes.

CUTS 8d NAILS WITH EASE — The KNIPEX 10 in. High Leverage Angled Diagonal Cutters-Comfort Grip is a tool that I wished that I had discovered earlier. To me it is amazing that it can cut an 8d nail with ease and it does not harm the cutters. What I particularly like is that it cuts the nail flush with the wood. The long handles together with the comfort grips make cutting of any wire product easy. This should be the only cutting tool one needs. It is well-designed and well-made and comes with a limited lifetime warranty.

Outstanding. My hand strength isn’t what it used to be. These are fantastic. Not small, but, that’s why they are so easy to use. Always had a hard time with my old little side cutters on 12-gauge and larger wire, especially at any awkward angle. These are way easier for me.
