This is a nice solid set of pliers with a different mechanism to change the size. You have to depress a button to change the size. Not overly difficult, just different. The pliers seems solid, the cushiony grip seems like it will hold up (unlike some others I have). Nothing to complain about. The jaws are nicely toothed for grip. The occupy a spot in my kitchen tool drawer.

These are a great set of pliers. Unlike normal adjustable pliers the jaws remain parallel as you squeeze the handles. This makes them great for working with large nuts or hex bolts. But also leads to the only downside: you can’t grip anything round with them. I use mine for working with PVC pipe fittings. The jaws open wide enough to work with fairly large fittings, are easily adjustable (by pushing a button), and give a much better feel for how tight the fitting is than a pipe wrench without damaging the PVC like a regular adjustable pliers can.

Wow, what a great pair of pliers that that work like a wrench. Some of the things I like best about this pliers is I can carefully use them on finished pipes, like the ones found on the shower head without having to worry about leaving grove marks in the finish. Its like carrying a pocket full of wrenches, imperial and metric, all rolled into to one… Simply push the button and slide to the correct size. There you have it, the correct size wrench with nice parallel jaws. Very comfortable padded handles that allowed me to really ape on the bolt.

I am in absolutely love with knipex to begin with and received these on Christmas…they are extremely good looking in person and have extreme gripping power. for every 1lb you push down it puts 10lbs. the comfort grip was worth it. I have it on my 10in cobras and it’s much nicer compared to my 12in cobras who don’t have the comfort grip. this tool is an investment but will save you when it’s 4pm on a Friday and that nut won’t budge! there’s no better tool on the market
