Perfect to drop in your pocket. Even though these are small with a total overall length of only 5″ they are up to a variety of tasks, even opening those larger pvc glue cans.

this is far smaller than you may expect, it is like a baby’s toy, that being said, this series of knipex or craftsman, either alligator or cobras in whatever grip are in a league far removed from normal pliers including channel locks, which the tongue and groove pliers are colloquially named for

These were purchased based on a recommendation – I’d never seen them up close before. At first site, the locking mechanism seems a little flimsy, so as far as durability goes, I’m relying on the recommendations of everyone who has used them extensively. The rest of the tool is well built and it fits well in the hand. These are the smallest size available, and they’re going in my “go everywhere” tool kit. But I like them well enough to order a couple of the larger sizes as well.

I would recommend the Knipex 5 and 6 inch tools to anyone who needs a smaller plier or wrench. I’m impressed with their craftmanship. At first I was a little concerned with their prices, but the tools work better I expected. Knipex’s nimbleness and light weight again impressed me. Only having them for a short time, I find them useful. The 5 and 6 inch tools have exceeded my expectations. I will recommend these tools to friends.
