Description
With the Cobra there is no more time-consuming, test-adjusting to achieve the correct opening size. Simply position the upper jaw to the work piece, press the button and close the lower jaw. The uniquely designed jaw will lock in place so you can adjust once and it stays set, perfect for 1-handed applications.
- Includes easy push button with 18 laser-etched positions for fast, comfortable, precise adjustment for 1-1/2 in. working capacity
- Narrow head and slim jaw profile design provides superior access to hard to reach places
- Uniquely positioned teeth self-lock on pipes and nuts, which means you don’t have to squeeze the handles once in place and there is no slipping from the work piece
- Gripping surface with especially hardened teeth for extra wear resistance and hex shaped jaw for ability to grip any shaped object: round, hex, square, or flat

They are lightweight, strong, and durable. The Knipex pliers open very wide for their size. Have the Knipex Pliers Wrench and Alligators…these are the same high quality as expected. I decided to upgrade from the Alligator pliers because I got tired of them adjusting unexpectedly and had fewer size adjustments. The Cobras stay locked in, adjust easy and have many more adjustment options…didn’t think I would care about the additional adjustment options at first, but they have proven really useful in getting a much better grip on a variety of fasteners and materials!

Thin profile, smaller than same size pliers compared to Channel Locks, and others. Add to my collection of pliers, sure to come in handy when needed.

Worth the price, not just a meme. Have all different brands that attempted to copy the design in various boxes and bags, but the Knipex stays on the work bench within reach when it’s not in my back pocket. All of the imitators, ones from quality brands, they all have some design feature that isn’t as ergonomic or useful as the Knipex and I remember why these are the standard.

I seldom review any product, but these are exceptional. They are german engineering at its finest. I use the knipex for absolutely everything- loosening bolts, pipe fittings. I have even taken loose a stuck brake line fitting with these, they just won’t slip. The 7 1/4 inch size is perfect for tight spaces. I no longer carry channel locks or vise grips. Also won’t ever pinch your hand. Well worth the money.
