They’re nice and grip well but a tiny piece of the edge of the jaw chipped off on the first use. I’ve read other people have had this problem with Knipex tools. I think it’s because of the really high hardness rating the metal has. This makes it brittle.

I am electrician by trade I have been using knipex pliers for years absolutely the best . Great holding power for pipe pipe fittings electrical fittings last a long time just be sure to keep them under lock and key or they grow legs and walk away as to why I had to order another pair. I recommend all 3 sizes the 7-10& 12 inch sizes. You won’t regret it you will put channel lock brand and all others back in the ol tool box and forget about them.

As a residential plumber my pliers get allot of use and these are my go to for most applications! They grip better hold up longer fit into smaller places and aren’t near as likely to slip or pinch your fingers as any other brand on the market. I highly recommend .
