Create rich, saturated signs for indoor and short-term outdoor displays with this 60″ x 100′ roll of Water-Resistant Self-Adhesive Poly Poster Matte from Kodak. Made from a water-resistant polypropylene, this matte media features durability and tear resistance and can be easily mounted thanks to an adhesive backing. It is easily managed with a basis weight of 180 gsm with the backing and adhesive and a thickness of 6 mil, or 9 mil when including the backing. It also features an opacity of 95% with liner, a brightness of 90%, and a whiteness of 86% as well as an adhesive peel strength of 20 N/in. Additionally, it comes on a 2″ core and has a macroporous coating that is compatible with aqueous dye- and pigment-based inks.

I tried this material on 3 smooth white walls in 3 different locations. It would not stick properly to any wall. I installed it smooth and within 10 min bubbles were everywhere and then it just sagged and fell off the wall, all three times. My prints are large so maybe it was the weight. But if they make a product at 42 width, that should not be a problem. I would never buy this again.

Nice adhesive product. Hard to start peeling the backing off. Watch out for air bubbles when applying.

I have been using this paper for years on outdoor signs and is really weather proof!!! I even installed on PVC boards spraying the paper with water+soap and no discoloration have ever happened. (I print on an epson 9800 and epson T7200).

We have used this product for temporary signage, public outdoor exhibits, and long term plan set plotting for outdoor use. Aside from the tendency to continue to rip if cut or hole punched, this product is exceptionally strong and will not tear by gripping and pulling (use grommets or clamping-style attachments) . Given the price point it is our go to product for print applications that might encounter outdoor water, wind or heavy use/handling. We also use products with fiber layers in between plastic layers, they are usually at least twice as expensive. A very good economy product with good color reproduction and wide variety of uses given cost.

Not a fan of Kodak products, but for this type of media it works great and is very affordable.
