The 8.5 x 11″ Professional Metallic Photo Inkjet Paper from Kodak contains 50 sheets. This 255 g/m2 media allows users to produce metallic prints previously only available in a traditional darkroom. The metallic, high gloss finish duplicates the characteristics of Kodak Endura Metallic Paper. Professional Metallic Photo has a larger color gamut and higher Dmax to ensure that the color captured in-camera reproduces more accurately, while producing deeper, richer blacks, an expanded dynamic range, and additional detail in shadow areas. The paper is compatible with dye and pigment-based photo inkjet printers.

this paper is simply not worth the money and quite frankly my opinion wouldn’t change if it was free. Paper has a weird yellowish hue to it when the printing is complete, even though it looks bright white when going in. (printed another hard copy with other paper of the same image and it did not have the hue), the colors are dull and the paper is very light weight and crinkles easily just be handling it. I understand that paper this big is hard to handle, so I d my very best not to do anything to create the crinkles or leave weird finger prints etc. I still got two crinkles in the paper from just picking it up off of the printer. I love BH photo, but this paper is garbage.

This paper really makes water and mountain scenes pop. That being said the paper is fragile, so take great care when printing.

If you’re looking for professional quality paper, this isn’t it. On a lark, I tried it out because it was pretty inexpensive, and as they saying goes, you get what you pay for. If you’re printing pics you’re gong to stick to the wall with tape for fun, this paper will do. Anything else, though, is useless.

For the price I guess this is a good metallic paper. It definitely looks more pearly than metallic to me. We really wanted a silvery look to our background as this was being used for vector art (customer logos) rather than photos, but this ended up being acceptable. Should we have spent the extra $40+ to get true silver metallic? … probably. Will anyone else really know or care that it could look better with a silver background? Not really.

Much blacker blacks, much whiter whites. Fantastic shadow detail. Be careful, highlights may appear a bit washed out. Good for detail rich photo’s Surface has a metallic gloss sheen, not the highest gloss.

After reading some previous reviews I was skeptical of purchasing this paper, but I thought I’d give it a whirl. I was surprised at the quality and how it really made the colors and details POP. Considering my home printer is a $200 Canon vs the $1000s printer used at the pro lab I use for customer prints, it is terrific. I can print on this and know that I nailed it.

This is not the pearlescent metallic paper I thought it was, It is more of an ultra-glossy finish. It’s good for what it is, but not for what I thought it would be.

I have used this paper before and love the way my photos look on it. The shipping time was very good, but it did arrive with a bent corner. Considering it was shipped in a box, it must have been packaged that way. Not a major problem with the type of print I am doing.
