This is a great addition to the Kohler single basin sink. Fits snugly and works well. I give it five stars for quality and ease of use, four stars for the price.

This cutting board is real Maple wood. It’s thick and heavy and it fits over the sink. I really like that feature. Sometimes you just want to cut things and discard the cuttings straight in the garbage disposal. This makes it easy to do with veggies or fruits. I wouldn’t cut meat on this since the blood can stain the cutting board. It’s easy to clean and the maple wood feels great.

This is a really larger cutting board.Warning if you have a small kitchen, look for something smaller. However, if you have plenty of counter spaceThis board will do just fine.It is thick and heavy. Doesn’t feel cheap at all.Feels like it will last years to come.Comes with cleaning instructions to prolong the life of the board.I don’t suggest putting it in the dishwasher.Nice color as well.

The Riverby cutting board can fit in the sink as it is grooved on the underside. Measure your sink to make sure the board fits in your sink the way you want to use it, as it does not fit all sinks. You can also use it on any counter top near the sink. It is make of maple and when I tested it, it was not warped as some other brand board reviews mentioned. The board is a nice size, works well and is attractive.

My wife and I are very happy with this wood cutting board. We were pleasantly surprised when the board showed up in a box labelled Kohler. We have used Kohler plumbing products for years with great success, but had no idea they made this type of product. The board is a perfect size to handle all cutting tasks you may encounter in the kitchen. Per the owner’s instructions it is made of high quality hardwoods. The instructions also provide guidance on how to keep the board looking new. I did pick up a new tip from the instructions on how to care for wooden cutting boards; that is to occasionally wipe them down with mineral oil. Also, with all four sides being carefully mitered inward for a very decorative and professional appearance, it just looks good sitting out on the kitchen counter. See attached photos. Well done Kohler.

This is a good quality, nice thick and sturdy cutting board. I can’t tell you how many cheap poorly made wooden cutting boards I have gone through in the past few years, I just keep buying packs of them and they all end up the same way, cracking and splitting and in the trash after a few months. This board you can tell is a real cutting board that will last.

I really like the versatility of this cutting board. It fits perfectly on one end of my prep station. I leave it there so that I always have an ample cutting area to protect the surface of my prep station. It also sits across my sink on top of the undermounted sink. That is handy when I want to trim things and drop the scraps into the garbage disposal. On the underneath side it has recessed edges so that it can snug up with the sink. The wood looks like bare unfinished maple. The instructions say that when it gets worn that you can refresh it with mineral oil. The cutting surface is quite large which is a nice feature. It is a lightweight cutting board that is very useful.

Very nice cutting board and fits our Kohler sink perfectly. I do worry about the durability and after a few months of lots of uses, it is fine.

This is basically a premium block of wood. Exactly what it claims to be. After you get it, you need to add mineral oil to it(not included). I’m not sure if that’s normal or not because I’ve never had such a nice cutting board before. I usually buy the cheaper versions. The wood is very dense and I had a tough time scratching it. This is replacing some inexpensive bamboo cutting boards and the hardness difference is very noticeable. The maple is much more dense. The reason I’m only giving this 4 stars is because the sides of the block were a little rough around the edges and I sanded them down a bit so it would be smooth. Again, I’m not sure if this is normal on such a nice cutting board.

This is a very nice looking and well-made cutting board. I consider this to be about average size and thickness for a kitchen cutting board. I’ve only had teak and bamboo boards before so I wanted to try a maple one. Its very well made. The top is smooth and you can’t feel the joints at all. The edges curve under. I presume this is to make it easier to pick up and hold. The top surface is completely flat – it doesn’t have any cut-out or groove for catching liquid if that is what you are looking for. It does recommend treating it occasionally with mineral oil. I could be wrong, but it looked like it needed treated so I put an initial 4 coats on it. The mineral oil did not change the color at all.Its a good, solid board that I expect to last for several years with proper cleaning and treating.

It looks good and is a good size for a cutting board. The wood seems to be unfinished to I recommend that you don’t let liquids sit on it for too long. Soapy water and a drying towel right after you finish using it will work wonders. I also would recommend you let it dry completely before putting it away to keep form accidentally putting anything on top of it that can keep the moisture locked into the board.

BEAUTIFUL CUTTING BOARD — The KOHLER Riverby 10.5 in. x 17.375 in. Cutting Board in Maple Wood appears to be of high quality. It is nicely contoured to fit certain Kohler sinks. Unfortunately it does not fit our sink but its generous size still makes it quite useful. It has simple instructions for making it long lasting. The pieces of wood used to make the cutting board blend together well which makes the cutting board attractive.
