The k4 pocket hole system worked great. Built a work bench and it was the perfect tool for what I needed.

This was apparently a Home Depot exclusive package and was great value compared to pricing of individual components. First time ordering through the website but ordering, shipping, and delivery all seemed to work well.

I had the smaller kreg jig and I upgraded to the k4. Sure makes pocket hole drilling faster. A real winner.

For a first time user, I found the Kreg system to be easy to use and fairly intuitive. It made the project build quick and easy. I would recommend the Kreg Pocket Hole System to any level of woodworker.

Have been looking at the Kreg Jigs for quite some time and finally took the leap. Now wish I had jumped earlier. Very much like the ease of use and the constant repeatable results.

I am a little bit disappointed, I think after watching some many videos of people easily working with it, I expected to be easier. It is not a one person job to work with it, unless you screw the K4 on a table someone has to be holding it hard for a second person to be able to make the hole. The face clamp is not enough to hold it in place. The cost of the screws is a little high, so this will be used on more special. I have not used the R3 drill guide yet. If in your project showing screws is not a problem, the investment is not worth. I was building some garage shelves, 1/2 of them I used the pocket holes and the other half I did not, no difference at the end.

I should have bought it years ago. I was in the process of building an office desk for my wife and this jig made everything go much faster and easier. The connections are much tighter and stronger. A MUST for woodworkers.

Seems to be well made. Came with nice extras. Have to do extra thinking to use it .will work out good after getting use to it. Clamp that came with it seem cheap. The clamp was an extra but it could have been better quality.

I am new to woodworking and I have already made some awesome stuff using Kreg. I love it and I’m going to keep building things rather than buy them. I am going to keep adding Kreg tools to what I already have. 2 thumbs up to Kreg.

The Kreg K4 Pocket -Hole is perfect. Was easy to use with instructions to get you familiar with the product. I would recommend it to everyone I’ve been waiting for the Kreg K4 Pocket -Hole system for a while and got it at a great price.

I already had the Kreg® Pocket-Hole Jig 320, it is a good product and works well.. However I believed the Kreg K4 system would be easier and quicker.Turns out this perspective was (is) 100% correct. The K4 system is much easier to use especially when making several pocket holes.Additionally with the K4 can use the “shop vac” attachment (made by Kreg) for essentially sawdust free pocket holes.Home Depot offered this kit with free shipping and the “extras” for the same price as the “normal” K4 kit.. that “sale” convinced me to pull the trigger and buy this kit.The base is 1″ thick, therefore when I drilled large boards I had to support them. This was easy for me as I have “scrap” 3/4″ and 1/4″ lying around. However, I made a “carry all” with 2 drawers to take my Kreg K4 and other Kreg stuff with me. The drawers unfold to support the work @ the same height as the K4 jig.Other perspectives: The handle for clamping the work is on the backside, I believe the K5 has the handle on the front.. I did not opt for the additional expense of the K5, even though the front handle seems more convenient. The K4 unit has a slot on the backside, supposedly to hold the allen wrench, this slot is too loose to hold the allen wrench reliably.I have a pocket hole jig (not Kreg) from several years back, it can work, however I use the Kreg because it is easier (better instructions and intuitive) and good quality, while the other brand sits in a drawer.. As I stated earlier, the K4 base sits 1″ off the bench… I was fortunate to have both 3/4″ and 1/4″ scraps lying around to support large work. I think most folks have 3/4″ lying around, I wonder why did Kreg chose 1″ (who has 1″ thick scraps laying around?)That said there are other brands that are fine pocket hole systems. I like how easy to use this Kreg K4 is.In summary: Would I buy it again? YESDo I use it? YES
